Notes
When no subwoofer is connected to the rear
output, select REAR SP:FULL.
When a subwoofer is connected to the rear
output, set for subwoofer REAR SP:S.W.
When the rear output setting is REAR SP:S.W,
you cannot change the subwoofer controller.
3 Change the subwoofer controller with
2/3.
Pressing 2/3 will switch between S.W CTRL
:INTERNAL and S.W CTRL:EXTERNAL and that
status will be displayed.
Switching the Telephone
Muting/Attenuation
When a call is made or received using a cellular
telephone connected to this product, you can
select between muting and attenuation when
using the Handsfree Telephone Unit.
1 Press 5 or to select TEL MUTE/ATT from
the INIT MENU, and press A.MENU.
TEL MUTE/ATT adjustment indications are dis-
played.
2 Switch the telephone muting/attenuation
with 2/3.
Pressing 2/3 will switch between TEL
MUTE/ATT:MUTE (muting),TEL MUTE/ATT:ATT
(attenuation) and TEL MUTE/ATT:NORMAL
(normal) and that status will be displayed.
Setting remote control code type
When the remote control operation switch is set
to DVD, changing the remote control code type
enable to operate the Pioneer DVD player by the
supplied remote control. There are two remote
codes, code type A and code type B.
When using this unit with an XDV-P9 Multi-
DVD Player, select code A.
When using this unit with SDV-P7 DVD player,
select code A or B (depending on reception
signal setting of DVD player).
Set the remote control selection switch on the
left side of the remote control to appropriate
position with a pen tip or other pointed instru-
ment .
If you selected B mode, read the following
procedure and change the code type into the
appropriate one.
Using different entertainment
audio displays
You can enjoy displays while listening to each
sound source. The display for this MENU is the
same regardless of which source you operate
from.
Press NAVI/AV
on the head unit
.
Each time you press NAVI/AV on the head unit
the display changes in the following order:
