Fitting and Removing the Display Precaution: • To prevent failure, be sure to turn the ignition switch or system power OFF before fitting or removing the display. Also take care not to grip the screen or buttons too firmly or to drop the display. • Do not let any water get on the terminals on the display or on the cable and do not allow the terminals to be shorted by a metal object or the like. This can cause system breakdown. • Be careful not to touch terminals on the display or on the cable.
ENGLISH To remove the display • Pull and hold the lock release lever 3, then slide the display and detach from the base. • To prevent theft of the display, remove the display when leaving the vehicle. Reset the microprocessor in the following cases: When using this product for the first time after installation. When the product fails to operate properly. When strange (incorrect) messages appear on the display.

ENGLISH Volume Adjustment Adjust the volume of audio output from the built-in speaker. 1. Adjust the speaker volume. ESPAÑOL Press the VOL– or VOL+ button. VOL+: Turn up VOL–: Turn down VOL12 DEUTSCH The volume of the built-in speaker can be adjusted in a range of 0 to 30. Basic Operation Selecting a Source Switches video and audio source inputs from the AV equipment connected to VCR1 IN, VCR2 IN, or COMPONENT IN. 1. Select a source. Press the SOURCE/POWER button. Each press of the button selects the desired source in the following sequence: VCR1[COMPONENT] [VCR1 (COMPONENT)] or [VCR1] = [VCR2] = Exit to [VCR1 (COMPONENT)] or [VCR1] Note: • This product has two source inputs; VCR1 IN and VCR2 IN.
ENGLISH Changing the Wide Screen Mode You can change the way in which normal video (aspect ratio 4:3) enlarges to wide video (16:9). Select wide modes to suit the kind of video you are viewing. 1. Display a source to view. (Refer to page 11.) ESPAÑOL 2. Select a wide mode.
Basic Operation Wide Modes Available FULL Video with an aspect ratio of 4:3 enlarges only horizontally. Enjoy viewing video widened without missing parts. JUST Video appears more extended horizontally as it gets closer to both edges of the screen. Because video appears in about the same size as regular video around the middle of the screen, enjoy viewing it without feeling out of place. CINEMA Video enlarges vertically with a aspect ratio falling between FULL and ZOOM.
Adjusting the Screen ENGLISH This system offers a number of functionality setup and adjustment features to make it easier to use. Customize the settings to suit your taste and environment. Picture Adjustment (BRIGHT/CONTRAST/COLOR/HUE) ESPAÑOL You can change the brightness [BRIGHT] of black, contrast [CONTRAST], darkness of colors [COLOR], and the hue [HUE] of video to taste. Separate settings are stored for video from VCR1 (COMPONENT), VCR1, and from VCR2. 1. Display a source to view.
Adjusting the Screen 5. Complete the setting. Press and hold the WIDE/MENU button for 2 seconds or longer to close the menu and complete the setting. Adjustment item – side BRIGHT Brightness of black Makes black appear darker. CONTRAST Contrast Narrows the gap between black and white (darken). COLOR Color darkness Makes colors appear lighter. HUE Hue Increases red. + side Makes black appear lighter. Widens the gap between black and white (brighten). Makes colors appear darker. Increases green.
ENGLISH Picture Adjustment (DIMMER) Viewing can become difficult after extended video viewing if the screen is too bright at night or when the ambient brightness becomes dark. This device automatically adjusts the brightness of the LCD screen in accordance with the ambient brightness (3-point intelligent dimmer). The automatically set brightness can also be adjusted by setting to the desired brightness. ESPAÑOL 1. Display a menu screen.

This level indicates the brightness of the screen being adjusted. The farther yellow moves to the right, the brighter the screen.

Settings Power Control Function When connecting with a head unit which has Power Control function, such as the AVHP7800DVD, you can turn the AVD-W1100V ON or OFF through the head unit. 1. Display a setup menu. Follow step 1 and step 2 in the “Input Setting (VCR1/VCR2)”. (Refer to page 18.) 2. Select [POWER.C]. Press the WIDE/MENU button. The selected item turns to blue. Using the Display Correctly About the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) Screen • If the display is installed near the vent of an air conditioner, make sure that air from the air conditioner is not blowing on it. Hot air may break the LCD screen, and cool air may cause moisture to form inside the display resulting in possible damage. Also, if the display is cooled down by cool air, the screen may become dark, or the life span of the small fluorescent tube used inside the display may be shortened.

Installing or servicing the product may expose you to risk of electric shock or other hazards. Programme können im Breitbildformat ohne fehlende Teile wiedergegeben werden. JUST (JUSTIERT) Das Bild wird zu beiden Seitenrändern hin zunehmend horizontal gedehnt. Da das Bild in Bildschirmmitte annähernd im Normalformat erscheint, kann es ohne ein Gefühl der Unnatürlichkeit betrachtet werden.
Bildschirm-Einstellungen ENGLISH Dieses System bietet zahlreiche Funktions-, Einrichtungs- und Einstellmerkmale zur Bedienungserleichterung. Die Einstellungen können je nach Bevorzugung und Umgebung angepasst werden. Bildeinstellung (BRIGHT/CONTRAST/COLOR/HUE) ESPAÑOL Sie können die Helligkeit [BRIGHT] des Schwarzanteils, den Kontrast [CONTRAST], die Dunkelheit der Farben [COLOR] und den Farbton [HUE] des Bilds wunschgemäß ändern.

ENGLISH Bildeinstellung (DIMMER) Die Sichtbarkeit kann sich bei längerer Video-Wiedergabe verschlechtern, wenn der Bildschirm bei Dunkelheit zu hell ist, oder wenn die Umgebung dunkel wird. Dieses Gerät passt die Helligkeit des LCD-Bildschirms automatisch der Umgebungshelligkeit an (intelligenter 3-Stufen-Dimmer). Die automatisch eingestellte Helligkeit kann auch auf die gewünschte Helligkeit korrigiert werden. ESPAÑOL 1. Bringen Sie ein Menü zur Anzeige.

Richtiger Gebrauch des Displays ENGLISH VORSICHT ESPAÑOL • Falls Feuchtigkeit oder Fremdkörper in das Display-Gehäuse eindringen, das Display sofort ausschalten (OFF) und an einen Fachhändler oder die nächstgelegene PIONEER-Kundendienststelle wenden. Der fortgesetzte Betrieb des Displays in diesem Zustand kann zu Bränden, elektrischen Schlägen oder zum Ausfall des Geräts führen.
Richtiger Gebrauch des Displays Hinweise zur Flüssigkristallanzeige (LCD) • Wenn das Display in der Nähe des Auslasses einer Klimaanlage installiert wird, ist darauf zu achten, dass die Luft von der Klimaanlage nicht direkt auf das Display trifft. Warmluft kann zu einer Beschädigung des LCD-Bildschirms führen, Kaltluft kann Kondensatbildung im Inneren des Displays mit daraus resultierenden Störungen verursachen.
Anschluss des Geräts ENGLISH VORSICHT ESPAÑOL • PIONEER rät nachdrücklich davon ab, das Display eigenhändig einzubauen oder zu warten, da hierbei die Möglichkeit elektrischer Schläge und anderer Gefahren besteht. Einbau und Wartung des Displays sind deshalb dem autorisierten Kundendienst-Fachpersonal zu überlassen. • Alle Kabel mit Kabelklemmen oder Isolierband befestigen. Es dürfen keine offenliegenden Drähte vorhanden sein.

Opérations de base Modes d’agrandissement disponibles FULL (Remplir) La vidéo au format 4:3 est agrandie uniquement dans le sens de la largeur (horizontalement). Vous bénéficiez alors d’une zone d’image plus large, sans perdre aucune donnée. JUST (Juste) L’image semble davantage agrandie en largeur au fur et à mesure qu’on approche des bords de l’écran. Comme elle est affichée à peu près à la même taille que la vidéo normale vers le milieu de l’écran, vous pouvez la visionner sans la sensation de décalage.
Comment mettre au point l’écran ENGLISH Ce système offre un certain nombre de fonctions et d’options de configuration et de réglage destinées à faciliter son utilisation. Réglez les paramètres en fonction de vos goûts personnels et des conditions d’utilisation. Réglage de l’image (BRIGHT/CONTRAST/COLOR/HUE) ESPAÑOL Vous pouvez changer la luminosité [BRIGHT] du noir, le contraste [CONTRAST], la teinte foncée des couleurs [COLOR] et la teinte [HUE] de l’image vidéo, selon votre goût.
Comment mettre au point l’écran 5. Terminez le réglage. Maintenez pressée la touche WIDE/MENU pendant 2 secondes ou plus pour fermer le menu et terminer le réglage. ENGLISH Réglage de l’image (DIMMER) La vision peut devenir difficile la nuit lorsque vous agrandissez la vision de la vidéo si l’écran est trop lumineux ou si la luminosité ambiante s’assombrit. Le dispositif met automatiquement au point la luminosité de l’écran à cristaux liquides en fonction de la luminosité ambiante (réglage intelligent en 3 points de l’intensité). La luminosité réglée de façon automatique peut être ensuite mise au point pour obtenir la luminosité voulue. ESPAÑOL 1.
Comment mettre au point l’écran 3. Réglez la luminosité. Appuyez sur la touche VOL– ou VOL+. VOL+: Plus clair. VOL–: Plus sombre. Plus le symbole jaune s’étend vers la droite, plus l’écran s’éclaircit. PICTURE ADJUST BRIGHT CONTRAST COLOR HUE DIMMER 0 0 5 0 Permet de mettre au point la luminosité de l’écran lorsqu’elle est sombre ( ). Ce niveau indique que la luminosité de l’écran est en cours de mise au point. Plus le jaune s’éloigne vers la droite plus l’écran est lumineux.
Réglages ENGLISH Choix de l’entrée (VCR1, VCR2) Le standard vidéo, NTSC, PAL et SECAM, peut être sélectionné en fonction de l’équipement audiovisuel raccordé à cet appareil. 1. Réglages Fonction de commande d’alimentation Lors du raccordement d’un appareil principal muni d’une fonction de commande d’alimentation, tel que l’AVH-P7800DVD, vous pouvez mettre sous ou hors tension l’AVD-W1100V à travers l’appareil principal. 1. Affichez le menu de mise en œuvre. Suivez les étapes 1 et 2 de “Choix de l’entrée (VCR1/VCR2)”. (Reportez-vous à la page 18.) 2. Sélectionnez [POWER.C]. Appuyez sur la touche WIDE/MENU. L’option sélectionnée devient bleue. SETUP MENU VCR1 VCR2 POWER .
Utilisation convenable de l’écran ENGLISH ATTENTION ESPAÑOL • Si de l’humidité ou un corps étranger devait s’infiltrer dans l’unité, mettez-la immédiatement hors tension (OFF) et consultez votre concessionnaire ou un centre de service PIONEER agréé. Utiliser l’unité sans vérification pourrait provoquer un incendie, une électrocution ou d’autres problèmes.
Utilisation convenable de l’écran A propos de l’écran à cristaux liquides (LCD) • Si l’écran est installé près de la bouche d’un climatiseur, assurez-vous que l’air du climatiseur ne souffle pas dessus. L’air chaud peut rompre l’écran à cristaux liquides et l’air froid peut causer de la condensation d’humidité à l’intérieur de l’écran et des dommages possible.
Branchement du système ENGLISH ATTENTION ESPAÑOL • PIONEER ne vous recommande pas d’installer ou d’entretenir vous-même cet écran, car ces travaux peuvent présenter un risque d’électrocution ou d’autres dangers. Il microprocessore va ripristinato nei seguenti casi: Allorché il prodotto viene utilizzato per la prima volta dopo l’instalazione. Se l’unità non funziona correttamente.

ENGLISH Regolazione dell’immagine (DIMMER) Di notte o quando la luminosità dell’ambiente diminuisce, la visione può diventare difficile dopo un tempo abbastanza lungo se lo schermo è troppo luminoso. Il dispositivo regola automaticamente la luminosità dello schermo LCD in base alla luminosità dell’ambiente (varialuce intelligente a 3 punti). La luminosità regolata automaticamente può anche essere ulteriormente regolata a livello manuale, impostando la luminosità desiderata. ESPAÑOL 1.

Impostazioni Funzione di controllo d’accensione Quando si collega l’apparecchio ad un’unità principale provvista della funzione di controllo d’accensione - ad esempio l’AVH-P7800DVD - attraverso quest’ultima è possibile accendere e spegnere l’AVD-W1100V. 1. Visualizzare il menu d’impostazione. Eseguire i passi 1 e 2 della sezione “Impostazione ingresso (VCR1 o VCR2)”. (Vedere a pagina 18.) 2. Selezionare [POWER.C]. Premere il tasto WIDE/MENU. L’opzione selezionata appare ora di colore blu.
Uso corretto dello schermo ENGLISH PRECAUZIONE ESPAÑOL • Se umidità o materiali estranei penetrano nell’unità, spegnere immediatamente e consultare il proprio rivenditore o il più vicino centro assistenza autorizzato PIONEER. L’uso dell’unità in queste condizioni può causare incendi o scosse elettriche oppure altri guasti.
Uso corretto dello schermo Schermo con pannello a cristalli liquidi (LCD) • Se si stabilisce d’installare lo schermo in prossimità dell’uscita del condizionatore d’aria, è necessario accertarsi che questa non lo colpisca direttamente. L’aria calda potrebbe infatti determinare la rottura del LCD, mentre l’aria fredda potrebbe dar luogo alla formazione di umidità al suo interno, eventualmente danneggiandolo.

L’installazione o la manutenzione del prodotto può esporre al rischio di scosse elettriche o altri pericoli. Aanbrengen en verwijderen van de display Voorzorgsmaatregelen: • Zet het auto-contact af of schakel het autonavigatiesysteem uit voordat u de display gaat aanbrengen of verwijderen. Let er tevens op dat u het scherm en de toetsen niet te ruw vastpakt of de display laat vallen. • Wees voorzichtig dat geen water op de aansluitingen van de display of op de kabel terechtkomt, of dat de aansluitingen worden kortgesloten door een metalen voorwerp e.d. Dit kan resulteren in een defect van het autonavigatiesysteem.
ENGLISH Verwijderen van de display • Trek de vergrendeling 3, uit, houd deze vast en schuif het beeldscherm vervolgens los van de standaard. • Verwijder de display wanneer u de auto verlaat, om diefstal te voorkomen. BELANGRIJKE INFORMATIE Deponeer dit product niet bij het gewone huishoudelijk afval wanneer u het wilt verwijderen. Er bestaat een speciaal wettelijk voorgeschreven verzamelsysteem voor de juiste behandeling, het opnieuw bruikbaar maken en de recycling van gebruikte elektronische producten.
Voor u dit product gaat gebruiken ENGLISH Voorkom leeglopen van de accu Laat altijd de motor lopen wanneer u dit toestel gebruikt. Gebruikt u dit toestel zonder dat de motor loopt, dan is het mogelijk dat de accu leeg raakt. Ter bescherming van uw LCD display ESPAÑOL • Laat geen direct zonlicht op de LCD display vallen wanneer het toestel niet in gebruik is. Langdurige blootstelling aan direct zonlicht kan oververhitting veroorzaken, wat kan leiden tot storingen.
Voor u dit product gaat gebruiken Resetten van het systeem Resetten van de microprocessor Door het RESET knopje in te drukken kunt u de microprocessor terugzetten op de fabrieksinstellingen, alle instellingen uit het geheugen wissen en de instelfunctie terugzetten op de begin- (fabrieks-) instellingen. Reset de microprocessor in de volgende gevallen: Wanneer u het toestel na het installeren voor het eerst in gebruik neemt. Wanneer het toestel niet juist functioneert.

Basisbediening WAARSCHUWING Installeer dit product in geen geval op een plek waar de bestuurder van het voertuig het product kan zien. Als het product zichtbaar is voor de bestuurder, kan deze worden afgeleid door de beelden terwijl hij of zij bezig is met het besturen van het voertuig. Gebruik van dit product is onderworpen aan wettelijke en andere regelingen aangaande plaatsing en gebruik.
ENGLISH Instellen van het volume Stel het volume voor de audioweergave via de ingebouwde luidspreker in. 1. Stel het luidsprekervolume in. ESPAÑOL Druk op de VOL– of VOL+ toets. VOL+: Volume hoger VOL–: Volume lager VOL12 DEUTSCH Het volume van de ingebouwde luidspreker kan worden ingesteld vanaf 0 t/m 30. Opmerking: • Met de VOL– en VOL+ toetsen wordt ook het volume van een eventueel aangesloten hoofdtelefoon geregeld.
Basisbediening Selecteren van een signaalbron U kunt kiezen welke video- en audiosignalen u wilt laten weergeven uit de AV apparatuur die is aangesloten op VCR1 IN, VCR2 IN of COMPONENT IN. 1. Selecteer de gewenste signaalbron. Druk op de SOURCE/POWER toets.
ENGLISH Wijzigen van de breedbeeldfunctie U kunt de manier waarop normale videosignalen (beeldverhouding 4:3) worden weergegeven op het breedbeeldscherm (beeldverhouding 16:9) veranderen. Kies de breedbeeldfunctie aan de hand van het soort programma dat u wilt bekijken. 1. Laat een signaalbron weergeven. (Zie bladzijde 11.) ESPAÑOL 2. Kies een breedbeeldfunctie.
Basisbediening Beschikbare breedbeeldfuncties FULL (volledig) Videosignalen met een beeldverhouding van 4:3 wordt alleen horizontaal uitgerekt weergegeven. Het hele beeldscherm wordt gevuld en u hoeft niets van het weergegeven beeld te missen. JUST (proportioneel) Het weergegeven beeld wordt meer uitgerekt naarmate het de rand van het beeldscherm nadert.
Instellen van het scherm ENGLISH Dit systeem biedt u een aantal instelmogelijkheden en functies voor een groter bedieningsgemak. Pas deze instellingen aan uw voorkeur en de gebruiksomstandigheden aan. Beeldinstellingen (BRIGHT/CONTRAST/COLOR/HUE) ESPAÑOL U kunt de instellingen voor de helderheid [BRIGHT], het contrast [CONTRAST], de kleurverzadiging [COLOR] en de tint [HUE] van de beelden aanpassen aan uw eigen voorkeur.

ENGLISH Beeldinstellingen (DIMMER) Als het scherm te helder is ingesteld, of als het donker wordt, kan het vermoeiend worden ernaar te kijken. Dit toestel regelt de helderheid van het LCD scherm automatisch aan de hand van het omgevingslicht (intelligente dimmer met 3 stappen). De automatisch ingestelde helderheid kan ook worden bijgeregeld tot de door u gewenste instelling. ESPAÑOL 1. Open het menuscherm. Instellingen ENGLISH Ingangsinstelling (VCR1/VCR2) Het videosysteem (zoals NTSC, PAL of SECAM) kan worden ingesteld aan de hand van het systeem dat gebruikt wordt door de op dit toestel aangesloten AV apparatuur. 1. Schakel het systeem uit. Houd de SOURCE/POWER toets ingedrukt. ESPAÑOL 2. Open het set-up menu. Houd de WIDE/MENU toets tenminste 2 seconden ingedrukt. Het [SETUP MENU] scherm zal verschijnen. Instellingen Stroomstuurfunctie Wanneer dit toestel wordt aangesloten op een hoofdtoestel met een stroomstuurfunctie, zoals de AVH-P7800DVD, kunt u de AVD-W1100V aan of uit zetten via het hoofdtoestel. 1. Open het set-up menu. Volg stap 1 en stap 2 onder “Ingangsinstelling (VCR1/VCR2)”. (Zie bladzijde 18.) 2. Selecteer [POWER.C]. Druk op de WIDE/MENU toets. Het geselecteerde onderdeel wordt blauw. Correct gebruik van het display ENGLISH LET OP ESPAÑOL • Als water of vreemde bestanddelen in de display terechtkomen, schakelt dan de apparatuur direct uit en raadpleeg uw dealer of dichtstbijzijnde PIONEER servicecentrum. De display mag nooit in deze toestand gebruikt worden, aangezien dit kan resulteren in een defect, een elektrische schok of zelfs brand. DEUTSCH • Als de display rook uitstoot, een vreemd geluid maakt, een vreemde geur afgeeft e.d.
Correct gebruik van het display Informatie betreffende het beeldscherm (LCD-scherm) • Als het beeldscherm is geïnstalleerd bij een uitlaat van de airconditioning, moet u ervoor zorgen dat de lucht van de airconditioning niet direct op het beeldscherm geblazen wordt. Hete lucht kan het LCD-scherm namelijk doen breken of barsten, terwijl koude lucht kan leiden tot condens in het beeldscherm met mogelijk beschadiging tot gevolg.
Aansluiten van de apparatuur ENGLISH LET OP ESPAÑOL • PIONEER raadt u af de display zelf in te bouwen of eventueel onderhoud te verrichten. Bij verkeerd inbouwen of onderhoud bestaat de kans op een elektrische schok of een andere gevaarlijke situatie. Laat inbouwen en onderhoud van het apparaat over aan bevoegd Pioneer servicepersoneel. • Maak alle draden met kabelklemmen of isolatietape vast. Let er tevens op dat er geen draden blootliggen.
Aansluiten van de apparatuur Opmerking: • 23 ACC stand OF F O STAR • O N • ACC STAR • F N • Bij inbouw van dit apparaat in een auto waarvan het contactslot geen “ACC” stand heeft, dient u de rode stroomdraad van dit apparaat aan te sluiten op een aansluitpunt waarvan de stroom wordt in- en uitgeschakeld door ON/OFF zetten van het contactsleuteltje. Als u deze stroomdraad aansluit op een punt dat altijd stroom krijgt, kan de accu leegraken als u de auto enkele uren ongebruikt laat.
