Fitting and Removing the Display Precaution; • To prevent failure, be sure to turn the ignition switch or system power OFF before fitting or removing the display. Also take care not to grip the screen or buttons too firmly or to drop the display. • Do not let any water get on the terminals on the display or on the base and do not allow the ter minals to be shorted by a metal object or the like. This can cause system breakdown. • Be careful not to touch terminals on the display or on the base.
Using the Display A CAUTION • To avoid unsafe conditions, do not adjust the LCD screen while driving.
0 BACK LIGHT switch VOLUME control The brightness of the light built into the display to illuminate the LCD screen (the back light) can be set to either of two lev els: Bright or Dark. Dark Controls the volume of the display speak er. Softer Louder Bright <1 -Ô- • The back light is dimmed automatically when the vehicle’s lights are turned ON to make the screen easy to see at night. BRIGHT control @ Speaker (D Signal receiver Controls the brightness of the image colours on the LCD screen.
About the Display A CAUTION • If moisture or foreign matter should get inside the unit, turn OFF the power immediately and consult your dealer or the nearest authorised PIONEER service facility. Using the unit in this condition may result in a fire or electric shock, or other failure. • If you notice smoke, a strange noise or smell, or any other abnormal signs from the display, turn OFF the power immediately and consult your dealer or the nearest authorised PIONEER service facility.
About the iiquid crystal display (LCD) screen Small black dots or white dots (bright dots) may appear on the LCD screen. These are due to the characteristics of the LCD screen and do not indicate a problem with the dis play. At low temperatures, the LCD screen may be dark for a while after the power is turned ON. The LCD screen will be difficult to see if it is exposed to direct sunlight.
Connecting the System Zbi CAUTION • Pioneer does not recommend that you install or service your display yourself. Installing or servicing the product may expose you to risk of electric shock or other hazards. Refer all installation and servicing of your display to autho rised Pioneer service personnel. • Secure all wiring with cable clamps or electrical tape. Do not allow any bare wiring to remain exposed.

Installation A CAUTION • Do not install the display where it may (i) obstruct the driver’s vision, (ii) impair the performance of any of the vehicle’s operating systems or safety features, including airbags, or (iii) impair the driver’s ability to safely oper ate the vehicle. • Pioneer does not recommend that you install or service your display yourself. Installing or servicing the product may expose you to risk of electric shock or other hazards.
A CAUTION • To ensure proper installation, use the supplied parts in the manner specified. If any parts other than the supplied ones are used, they may damage internal parts of the unit or they may work loose and the unit may become detached. • It is extremely dangerous to allow the display lead to become wound around the steering column or gearstick. Be sure to install the display in such a way that it will not obstruct driving.
Installation Installing the display using the accessory mounting base Use the mounting base to fasten the display to the dashboard. 1. Paste the cushions onto the bot tom of the display base. Paste the cushions onto the bottom of the display base to avoid scratching the dashboard. Display base 2. Install the display base and the mounting base on the display.
3. Determine the display installa tion position. Without removing the protective sheet on the rear of the mounting base, place the display on the dashboard and deter mine the position for installing the dis play. 4. Paste the mounting base onto the dashboard. Make sure the surface is free of mois ture, dust, grime, oil, etc. before affix ing the mounting base. Note: • Install the display in a position that conforms to the cautions on Pages 11 and 12.
Installation 5. Fasten the mounting base onto the dashboard with the tapping screws. 6. Adjust the display vertical posi tion and display angle. In order to stabilise the display, adjust the display vertical position so that the bottom of the display base contacts the dashboard. Adjust the display to a good angle for viewing. If you turn this knob to the left, you can adjust the vertical position of the display.
InstaUing the display using the AD-V43, soid separately____________ Use the separately sold AD-V43 monitor flexible mounting arm to mount the display on the passenger seat rail or the floor of the passenger seat. ZL CAUTION Do not install the display in a position where it will obstruct the fully-opened air hag.
Installation Install the display according to the instructions in the AD-V43 manual. Install the display according to the “IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS”, “CAUTION”, and installation procedure Steps 1-14 in the AD-V43 manual. The illustrations for Parts @, ^ and @ show different shapes from the parts that come with this product. For Steps 9-13, use the diagram below.

Instalación y extracción de la pantalla Precaución: • Para impedir fallos, asegúrese de poner el interruptor de encendido del vehículo o el interruptor de alimentación del sistema en OFF antes de instalar o extraer la pantalla. Tenga también cuida do para no sujetar la pantalla ni pulsar sus botones con mucha fuerza, y no permita que ésta se caiga. • No deje que se mojen los terminales de la pantalla o de la base, y no permita que los terminales sean cortocircuitados por un objeto metálico o algo similar.
Utilización de la pantalla A PRECAUCION • Para evitar condiciones peligrosas, no ajuste la pantalla LCD mientras con duce.
® Interruptor de luz de fondo (BACK LIGHT) El brillo de la luz incorporada en la pantalla para iluminar la pantalla LCD (la luz de fondo) puede ajustarse en dos niveles: Brillante u oscuro. Oscuro Control de volumen (VOLUME) Controla el volumen del altavoz de la pantalla. Bajar Subir Brillante -ü• La intensidad de la luz de fondo se reduce automáticamente cuando se encienden las luces del vehículo para poder ver más fácilmente la pantalla durante la noche.
Acerca de la pantalla A PRECAUCIÓN • Si la humedad o materias extrañas entran en la unidad, desconecte inmedia tamente la alimentación y consulte a su concesionario o centro de servicio PIONEER autorizado más cercano. La utilización de la unidad en estas condiciones puede causar un incendio o descarga eléctrica, u otros fallos.
Acerca de la pantalla de cristal líquido (LCD) • En la pantalla LCD pueden apareeer puntos negros o puntos blancos (puntos brillantes). Éstos se deben a las características de la pantalla LCD y no indican un problema en la pantalla. • A bajas temperaturas, la pantalla LCD puede quedar oscura durante un rato después de haber conectado la alimentación. • La pantalla LCD podrá verse con dificultad si está expuesta a la luz solar directa.
Conexión del sistema A PRECAUCION • Pioneer no recomienda que sea usted mismo quien instale o revise su pan talla. La instalación o revisión del producto puede exponerle a descargas eléctricas u otros peligros. Solicite que todos los trabajos de instalación y revisión de su pantalla los realice el personal de servicio Pioneer autorizado. • Asegure todo el cableado con abrazaderas de cables o cinta para usos eléctri cos. No permita que el cableado pelado permanezca expuesto.

Instalación A PRECAUCION No instale la pantalla donde (i) pueda obstruir la visión del conductor, (ii) afecte al rendimiento de cualquier sistema de funcionamiento o sistema de seguridad del vehículo, incluyendo el air-bag, o (iii) afecte a la habilidad del conductor para manejar con seguridad el vehículo. A PRECAUCIÓN • Para asegurar una instalación apropiada, utilice las piezas suministradas de la forma especifícada. Si utiliza otras piezas que no hayan sido sumi nistradas, éstas podrán estropear las partes internas de la unidad, o podrán aflojarse y hacer que se desprenda la unidad. • Es peligrosísimo dejar que el cable de la pantalla se enrolle en la base del volante o en la palanca de cambios. Asegúrese de instalar la pantalla de forma que ésta no sea un obstáculo para la conducción.
Instalación Instalación de la pantalla utilizando la base de montaje de accesorios Utilice la base de montaje para sujetar la pantalla colocada en el salpicadero 1. Pegue las almohadillas en la parte inferior de la base de la pantalla. Pegue las almohadillas en la parte infe rior de la pantalla para evitar rayar el salpicadero. Base de la pantalla 2. Instale la base de la pantalla y la base de montaje en la pantalla.
3. Determine la posición de insta lación de la pantalla. Sin quitar la hoja de protección de la parte trasera de la base de montaje, ponga la pantalla en el salpicadero y determine su posición de instalación. 4. Pegue la base de montaje en el salpicadero. Asegúrese de que la superficie no tenga humedad, polvo, suciedad, aceite, etc. antes de fijar la base de montaje. Notas: • Instale la pantalla en una posición que cumpla con las precauciones de las páginas 11 y 12.
Instalación 5. Fíje la base de montaje en el salpicadero con los tornillos autorroscantes. 6. Ajuste la posición vertical y el ángulo de la pantalla. Para estabilizar la pantalla, ajuste su posición vertical de forma que la parte inferior de la base de la pantalla esté en contacto con el salpicadero. Ajuste la pantalla de forma que ofrezca un buen ángulo de visión. Si gira este mando hacia la izquierda podrá ajus tar la posición vertical de la pantalla.
Instalación de la pantalla utilizando et AP-V43 vendido por separado Utilice el brazo de montaje flexible AD-V43 vendido por separado para montar la pantalla en el rafl del asiento del pasajero o en el suelo del asiento del pasajero. A PRECAUCION • No instale la pantalla en una posición donde pueda constituir una obstruc ción para el air-bag en caso de inflarse éste completamente.
Instalación Instale la pantalla según las instrucciones del manual del AD-V43. Instale la pantalla según las “PRECAUCIONES IMPORTANTES”, “PRECAUCIÓN” y los pasos 1-14 de los procedimientos de instalación del manual del AD-V43. Befestigen und Entfernen des Displays V orsichtsmaßregeln: • Um Beschädigungen zu Vermeiden, den Zündschlüssel oder den Ein/Aus-Schalter des Systems vor dem Befestigen oder Entfernen des Displays auf "OFF" stellen. Bei der Handhabung darauf achten, den Bildschirm und die Tasten nicht mit zu festem Griff zu halten und das Display nicht fallenzulassen.
Betrieb des Displays VORSICHTSMASSNAHME • Den LCD-Schirm nicht während des Fahrens einstellen, um eine Ablenkung vom Verkehrsgeschehen zu vermeiden.
® Beleuchtungsschalter (BACK LIGHT) Lautstärkeregler (VOLUME) Die Helligkeit der eingebauten Leuchtröhre zur Beleuchtung des LCDSchirms (die Rückbeleuchtung) ist zweistufig verstellbar: Hell oder Dunkel. Dunkel Dieser Regler dient zum Einstellen der Lautstärke der Display-Lautsprecher. Niedriger Hell -Ü- • Stellen Sie sicher, daß die Lautstärke des Navigationssystemes so eingestellt ist, daß wichtige Verkehrsgeräusche, wie etwa die Sirenen von Rettungsfahrzeugen, gehört werden kön nen.
Allgemeines Avorsichtsmassnahme • Falls Feuchtigkeit oder Fremdkörper in das Display-Gehäuse eindringen, das Display sofort ausschalten (OFF) und an einen Fachhändler oder die nächstgelegene PIONEER-Kundendienststelle wenden. Der fortgesetzte Betrieb des Displays in diesem Zustand kann zu Bränden, elektrischen Schlägen oder zum Ausfall des Geräts führen.
Hinweise zur Flüssigkristallanzeige (LCD) Auf dem Bildschirm können kleine schwarze oder weiße Punkte (helle Punkte) erscheinen. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine normale Erscheinung von LCDBildschirmen und deutet nicht auf einen anormalen Betriebszustand hin. Bei niedrigen Temperaturen kann es Vorkommen, daß der LCD-Schirm nach dem Einschalten (ON) des Displays zunächst eine Weile dunkel bleibt. Das Bild auf dem LCD-Schirm ist bei direkt auftreffendem Sonnenlicht schwer zu erkennen.
Anschluß des Geräts Avorsichtsmassnahme • Pioneer rät nachdrücklich davon ab, das Display eigenhändig einzubauen oder zu warten, da hierbei die Möglichkeit elektrischer Schläge und anderer Gefahren besteht. Einbau und Wartung des Displays sind deshalb dem autorisierten Kundendienst-Fachpersonal zu überlassen. • Alle Kabel mit Kabelklemmen oder Isolierband befestigen. Es dürfen keine offenliegenden Drähte vorhanden sein.

Einbau VORSICHTSMASSNAHME Das Display nicht so anbringen, daß es (I) die freie Sicht des Fahrer ein schränkt, (II) die Leistung des Fahrzeug-Betriebssystems oder der Sicherheitseinrichtungen, einschließlich der Airbags, beeinträchtigt und (III) den Fahrer bei der Steuerung des Fahrzeugs behindert. Pioneer rät nachdrücklich davon ab, das Display eigenhändig einzubauen oder zu warten, da hierbei die Möglichkeit elektrischer Schläge und anderer Gefahren besteht.
VORSICHTSMASSNAHME Zugunsten des korrekten Einbaus sind die mitgelieferten Teile entsprechend der jeweiligen Anleitung zu verwenden. Die Verwendung nicht mitgelieferter Teile kann zur Beschädigung von Innenbauteilen des Geräts führen. Darüber hinaus können sich diese Teile lösen und das Gerät herunterfallen. Es ist äußerst gefährlich das Display-Kabel um die Lenksäule oder den Gangschalthebel zu wickeln. Beim Einbau unbedingt darauf achten, daß das Display den Fahrer nicht behindert.
Einbau Befestigung des Displays mit der mitgelieferten Halterung Das Display mit der Halterung auf dem Armaturenbrett befestigen. 1. Die beiden Polster am Boden des Unterhaus anbringen. Um Kratzer auf dem Armaturenbrett zu vermeiden, die Polster am Boden des Unterhaus ankleben. 2. Den Display-Unterbau und die Halterung am Display befestigen.
3. Die Aufstellposition des Displays bestimmen. Das Display ohne die Schutzfolie an der Rückseite zu entfernen auf das Armaturenbrett setzen und die geeignete Aufstellposition bestimmen. 4. Die Halterung auf das Armaturenbrett kleben. Vor dem Aufkleben vergewissern, daß die Klebefläche frei von Feuchtigkeit, Staub, Schmutz, Öl usw. ist. Hinweis: • Eine Befestigungsposition wählen, die die auf Seite 11 und 12 genannten Bedingungen erfüllt.
Einhau 5. Die Halterung mit den Schneidschrauben am Armaturenbrett befestigen. 6. Die vertikale Stellung und den Winkel des Displays ausrichten. Um das Display zu stabilisieren, die vertikale Stellung so einstellen, daß die Unterseite der Displaybasis das Armaturenbrett berührt. Das Display auf einen Winkel einstellen, der gute Sichtbarkeit bietet. Durchdrehen dieses Knopfes nach links kann die vertikale Stellung des Displays aus gerichtet werden.
Befestigung des Displays mit dem biegsamen Befestigungsarm AD-V43 (Sonderzubehör) Zur Befestigung des Displays an der Beifahrersitzschiene oder am Boden des Beifahrersitzes den getrennt erhältlichen biegsame Befestigungsarm AD-V43 verwenden. Avorsichtsmassnahme Das Display nicht an einem Platz anbringen, wo es die vollständig geöffneten Airbags behindert.
Einbau Das Display entsprechend der Beschreibung in der Einbauanleitung des biegsamen Befestigungsarms AD-V43 anbringen. Das Display gemäß den Hinweisen der Abschnitte “WICHTIGE SICHERHEITS HINWEISE”, “VORSICHTSMASSNAHME” und den Befestigungsschritten 1 bis 14 der Einbauanleitung AD-V43 installieren. Die Abbildungen @ und @ zeigen die mit dem Befestigungsarm gelieferten Einbauteile. Für Schritt 9-13 siehe Abbildung unten.

Mise en place et retrait de Vécran Précautions: • Pour éviter des pannes, coupez la clé de contact du véhicule et mettez le système de navigation hors tension (OFF) avant d’installer ou de retirer l’écran. Prenez soin de ne pas serrer trop fort l’écran ou les boutons et de ne pas laisser tomber l’unité. • Ne laissez pas d’eau entrer en contact avec les bornes de l’écran ou de sa base et ne mettez pas ces bornes en court-circuit par un objet métallique, par exemple, car ceci pourrait provoquer des pannes.
Utilisation de Vécran Zl^AHENTION • Pour éviter tout risque d’accident, n’ajustez jamais l’écran LCD en con duisant.
® Commutateur de rétroéclairage (BACKLIGHT) La luminosité de la lampe incorporée pour éclairer l’écran LCD (par rétro éclairage) peut être ajustée selon deux niveaux: Clair ou Foncé. Foncé Commande d’intensité sonore (VOLUME) Pour ajuster l’intensité sonore du hautparleur de l’écran. Haute Basse Clair <1 -S• La clarté du rétro-éclairage est automatiquement ajustée quand les phares du véhicule sont allumés afin de faciliter sa lecture, la nuit.
Remarques à propos de récran Æ^attention • Si de Fhumidité ou un corps étranger devait s’infiltrer dans l’unité, mettez-la immédiatement hors tension (OFF) et consultez votre concessionnaire ou un centre de service PIONEER agréé. Utiliser l’unité sans vérification pourrait provoquer un incendie, une électrocution ou d’autres problèmes.
A propos de récran à cristaux liquides (LCD) • De petits points noirs ou des points blancs (points lumineux) peuvent apparaître sur l’écran LCD du fait des caractéristiques de ce genre d’écran, mais ils ne constituent en rien un problème pour l’affichage. • A basse température, l’écran LCD peut rester foncé pendant quelques instants après la mise sous tension. • La lecture de l’écran peut s’avérer difficile s’il est exposé en plein soleil.
Branchement du système /d^ATTENTION • Pioneer ne vous recommande pas d’installer ou d’entretenir vous-même cet écran, car ces travaux peuvent présenter un risque d’électrocution ou d’autres dangers. Confiez tous les travaux d’installation et d’entretien de votre écran au personnel de service Pioneer agréé. • Immobilisez toutes les câblages avec des serre-fils ou du ruban isolant. Ne laissez aucun conducteur à nu.

AAnENTION • Pour que l’installation soit correcte, utilisez les pièces fournies de la manière spécifiée. L’emploi de pièces différentes peut endommager les composants intérieurs de l’unité ou, en se détachant, elles peuvent provoquer la chute de l’unité. • Une situation très dangereuse pourrait se présenter si le fil de l’écran devait s’enrouler autour de la colonne de direction ou du levier des vitesses. Veillez à installer l’écran de telle sorte que rien ne fasse obstacle à la conduite.
Installation Installation de l'écran avec la base de montage fournie Utilisez la base de montage pour fixer l’écran, monté sur la planche de bord. 1. Collez les coussinets sur le fond de la base d’écran. Collez les coussinets sur le fond de la base d’écran afin d’éviter de griffer la planche de bord. Base d’écran 2. 3. Déterminez la position d’instal lation de l’écran. Sans retirer la pellicule protectrice à l’arrière de la base de montage, placez l’écran sur la planche de bord et déter minez la position d’installation de l’écran. 4. Collez la base de montage sur la planche de bord. Assurez-vous que la surface est propre, sans humidité, poussière, huile, etc, avant de coller la base de montage.. Remarque: • Installez l’écran à un endroit, respectant les précautions énoncée aux pages 11 et 12.
Installation 5. Fixez la base de montage sur la planche de bord à l’aide des vis taraudeuses. 6. Ajustez la position verticale et l’angle de l’écran. Pour stabiliser l’écran, ajustez sa posi tion verticale de manière que le fond de la base de l’écran soit en contact avec la planche de bord. Ajustez ensuite l’écran à l’angle qui assure la meilleure vision. En tournant ce bouton vers la gauche, vous pouvez ajuster la position verticale de l’écran.
Installation de l'écran avec ie bras AD-V43, vendu séparément Utilisez le bras de montage flexible AD-V43 pour moniteur, vendu séparément, afin de monter l’écran sur le rail ou le plancher du siège du passager. ZLahention • N’installez pas l’écran à un endroit où il gênerait le déploiement total de l’airbag.
Installation Installez l’écran en respectant les instructions du manuel du AD-V43. Installez l’écran en tenant compte des “IMPORTANTES MESURES DE SECURITE”, “ATTENTION” et des étapes d’installation 1 à 14 dans le manuel, fourni avec le bras flex ible AD-V43. Applicazione e rimozione dello schermo Precauzione: • Per evitare guasti, assicurarsi di regolare su OFF Finterruttore di accensione o l’ali mentazione del sistema prima di applicare o rimuovere lo schermo. Inoltre fare atten zione a non premere lo schermo o i tasti con forza eccessiva e a non lasciar cadere lo schermo. • Evitare che acqua venga in contatto con i terminali sullo schermo o sulla base e evitare che i terminali siano cortocircuitati da oggetti metallici o sìmili.
Uso dello schermo A PRECAUZIONE • Per evitare rischi, non regolare lo schermo LCD durante la guida.
® Interruttore BACK LIGHT La luminosità della lampada incorpo rata nello schermo per illuminare il pannello LCD (retroilluminazione) può essere impostata su due livelli: lumi noso o scuro. Scuro Comando VOLUME Controlla il volume del diffusore dello schermo. Più basso Più alto Luminoso u -0• La retroilluminazione viene affievolita automaticamente quando le luci del veicolo sono accese, per facilitare la visione dello schermo di notte.
Cura dello schermo PRECAUZIONE • Se umidità o materiali estranei penetrano nell’unità, spegnere immediata mente e consultare il proprio rivenditore o il più vicino centro assistenza autorizzato PIONEER. L’uso dell’unità in queste condizioni può causare incendi o scosse elettriche oppure altri guasti.
Schermo con pannello a cristalli liquidi (LCD) Piccoli punti neri o punti bianchi (punti luminosi) possono apparire sul pannello LCD. Questi sono dovuti alle caratteristiche del pannello LCD e non sono indice di problemi allo schermo. A basse temperature, il pannello LCD può rimanere scuro per qualche tempo dopo l’ac censione. Il pannello LCD è difficile da vedere se esposto alla luce solare diretta.
Collegamento al sistema A PRECAUZIONE Pioneer non raccomanda di installare o riparare personalmente lo schermo. L’installazione o la manutenzione del prodotto può esporre al rischio di scosse elettriche o altri pericoli. Per tutti gli interventi di installazione e manutenzione rivolgersi a personale tecnico autorizzato Pioneer. Fissare tutti i fili con morsetti cavo o nastro isolante. Non lasciare esposto alcun filo nudo.

Installazione PRECAUZIONE • Non installare lo schermo dove possa (i) ostruire la visione del conducente, (ii) interferire con il funzionamento di qualsiasi sistema operativo o funzione di sicurezza del veicolo, inclusi i gli airbag o (iii) ostacolare il conducente in uso sicuro del veicolo. • Pioneer non raccomanda di installare o riparare personalmente lo schermo. L’installazione o la manutenzione del prodotto può esporre al rischio di scosse elettriche o altri pericoli.
A PRECAUZIONE • Per assicurare unMnstallazione corretta, usare i pezzi in dotazione nel modo specificato. Se si usa qualsiasi pezzo diverso da quelli in dotazione, ne pos sono risultare danni alle parti interne dell’unità o il pezzo può allentarsi cau sando lo staccamento dell’unità. • È estremamente pericoloso lasciare che il cavo dello schermo si impigli nella colonna dello sterzo o nella leva del cambio. Assicurarsi di installare l’unità in modo tale da non ostacolare la guida.
Installazione Installazione dello schermo con la base di montaggio in dotazione Usare la base di montaggio per fissare lo schermo al cruscotto. 1. Incollare ì cuscinetti sul fondo della base dello schermo. Incollare i cuscinetti sul fondo della base dello schermo per evitare di graf fiare il cruscotto. Base dello schermo 2. Installare la base dello schermo e la base di montaggio sullo scher mo.
3. Stabilire la posizione di montag gio dello schermo. Senza rimuovere il foglio protettivo sul retro della base di montaggio, collo care lo schermo sul cruscotto e sta bilire la posizione di installazione dello schermo. 4. Incollare la base di montaggio al cruscotto. Assicurarsi che la superficie sia priva di umidità, polvere, sporco, olio, ecc. prima di applicare la base di montag gio. Nota: • Installare lo schermo in una posizione conforme alle precauzioni riportate alle pagine 11 e 12.
Installazione 5. Fissare la base di montaggio al cruscotto con le viti fílettanti. 6. Regolare la posizione verticale dello schermo e la sua ango lazione. Per stabilizzare lo schermo, regolare la sua posizione verticale in modo che il fondo della base dello schermo tocchi il cruscotto. Regolare lo schermo in modo da ottenere una buona ango lazione per la visione. Se sì gira questa manopola verso sinistra, si può regolare la posizione verticale dello, schermo.

Aanbrengen en verwijderen van de display V oorzorgsmaatregelen: • Zet het auto-contact af of schakel het autonavigatiesysteem uit voordat u de display gaat aanbrengen of verwijderen. Let er tevens op dat u het scherm en de toetsen niet te ruw vastpakt of de display laat vallen. • Wees voorzichtig dat geen water op de aansluitingen van de display of op de standaard terechtkomt, of dat de aansluitingen worden kortgesloten door een metalen voorwerp e.d.
Gebruik van de display A BELANGRIJK Maak geen beeldafstellingen tijdens het rijden. Dit is bijzonder gevaarlijk.
(D Lichtsterkje-schakelaar (BACK LIGHT) Geluidssterkteregelaar (VOLUME) Met deze regelaar stelt u de geluidssterkte in van de displayluidspreker. Met deze schakelaar kunt u de sterkte van de verlichting instellen die in de display is ingebouwd. Er zijn twee standen; beider en donker. Donker Zachter Harder Helder • Stel de geluidssterkte niet zo hoog in dat geluiden van ander verkeer of Sirenen niet meer hoorbaar zijn.
Informatie betreffende de disolay A BELANGRIJK • Als water of vreemde bestanddelen in de display terechtkomen, schakelt dan de apparatuur direct uit en raadpleeg uw dealer of dichtstbijzijnde PIO NEER servicecentrum. De display mag nooit in deze toestand gebruikt wor den, aangezien dit kan resulteren in een defect, een elektrische schok of zelfs brand. • Als de display rook uitstoot, een vreemd geluid maakt, een vreemde geur afgeeft e.d.
informatie betreffende het beeldscherm (LCD-scherm) _____________ • Het is mogelijk dat u zwarte of witte stippen (heldere puntjes) op het scherni ziet. Dit is een eigehschap van LCD-schermen en duidt niet op een defect. • Bij läge temperaturen is het mogelijk dat het beeid een tijdje erg donker is nadat de dis play is ingeschakeld. • Het beeid op het scherm is niet goed zichtbaar als er direct zonlicht op het scherm valt. Aansluitingen zLbelangrijk • Pioneer raadt u af de display zelf in te bouwen of eventueel onderhoud te verrichten. Bij verkeerd inbouwen of onderhoud bestaat de kans op een elek trische schok of een andere gevaarlijke situatie. Laat inbouwen en onder houd van het apparaat over aan bevoegd Pioneer servicepersoneel. • Maak alle draden met kabelklemmen of isolatietape vast. Let er tevens op dat er geen draden blootliggen.

Inbouwen Abeungrijk • Monteer de display niet op een plaats waar: (1) de display het zieht van de bestuurder op de weg kan belemmeren, (2) de display de werking van de diverse voorzieningen in de auto, zoals de airbags, nadelig zou kunnen beinvloeden, (3) de display de bestuurder kan hinderen bij her besturiew van de auto. • Pioneer raadt u af de display zelf in te bouwen of eventueel onderhoud te verrichten.
/^BELANGRIJK • Gebruik de bijgeleverde onderdelen op de voorgeschreven wijze zodat de display juist gemonteerd wordt. Indien u andere onderdelen gebruikt, kunt u beschadigingen aan bet apparaat veroorzaken of het apparaat kan losraken. • Wanneer het displaysnoer zieh rond de stuurkolom of de versnellingspook wikkelt, ontstaat een bijzonder gevaarlijke situatie. Let er bij het inbouwen van de display op dat u op geen enkele wijze gehinderd wordt bij de normale besturing van de auto.
Inbouwen Inbouwen van de display met behulp van de bijgeleverde displaystandaard Volg de onderstaande aanwijzingen voor het monteren van de display met behulp van de dispalystandaard. 1. Plak de kussentjes tegen de onderkant van de displaystan daard. Gebruik de kussentjes op de afgebeelde wijze om beschadiging van het dashboard te voorkomen. Dispalystandaard 2. Bevestig de displaystandaard en de montagevoet aan de display.
3. Bepaal de plaats voor de display. Zet de display op het dashboard en bepaal de beste plaats voor het apparaat, zonder dat u het beschermvel aan de onderkant van de montagevoet verwijdert. 4. Plak de montagevoet op het dashboard. Zorg dat het oppervlak waarop u de montagevoet gaat aanbrengen droog is en vrij van stof, olie, vet enz. Opmerking: • Kies de plaats overeenkomstig de aanbevelingen en voorschriften op biz. 11 en 12.
Inbouwen 5. U kunt de montagevoet ook met de tapschroeven op het dash board bevestigen. 6. Stel de hoogte en de hoek van het displayscherm in. Laat de display zakken totdat de onderkant van de displaystandaard op het dashboard rust. Draai het displayscherm totdat u het beeid zo goed mogelijk kunt zien. Draai deze knop naar linksom om de hoogte van de display af te stellen.
Inbouwen van de dispiay met behulp van de ios verkrijgbare AD-V43 Met behulp van de los verkrijgbare AD-V43 flexibele montage-arm kunt u de dispiay op de gewenste plaats voorin de auto inbouwen. De montage-arm wordt aan de schuifrail van de passagiersstoel of op de vloer bij de passagier gemonteerd. Abelangrijk Zorg dat de display ander geen enkele omstandigheid de werking van de airbag hindert.
Inbouwen Bouw de display in overeenkomstig de instructies in de handleiding van de AD-V43. Monteer de display overeenkomstig de instructies in “BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSMAATREGELEN”, “BELANGRIJK” en de inbouwstappen 1-14 in de handleiding van de AD-V43. De afbeelding van de onderdelen @, (§) en (§) in de betreffende handleiding komt niet overeen met de vorm van de onderdelen die bij deze dispaly worden geleverd. Voor stap 9-13 wordt verwezen naar de onderstaande afbeelding.
