Control of other devices
• Performing the following controls via remote control requires that you first register the remote control code of the device
that you wish to control. For more details see Recall signal from the remote control of another device to the remote control of
this unit on page 46.
• Before starting control press either the TV or BD button to switch the remote control to control mode for the intended
device. See the operating instructions for each device for more details on its specific functions.
1 Hold down SHIFT and then press the control buttons on the remote control.
Unless SHIFT is pressed, the remote control will remain in control of this unit only. Furthermore, certain functions of this unit
can still be used even when the control mode has been switched.
