Connect network 08

Checking the Network Information

The setting status of the following network-related items can

be checked.

• Signal Strength – Check the strength of the wireless

signal.

• IP Address – Check the IP address of this unit.

• MAC Address – Check the MAC address of this unit.

• Network Type – Check the network connection status

(Wired/Wireless).

• SSID – Check the SSID during wireless connection.

• DHCP – Check whether DHCP is being used (ON), or

isn’t being used (OFF).

• Default Gateway – If a gateway (router) is connected to

this player, enter the corresponding IP address.

The status of these items can be checked from the

HOME MENU

under "

Network INFO

Network INFO

” from the HOME

MENU, then press ENTER.

2Use

/

to display the item you wish to

check, then press

ENTER

Note

• Use the following steps to check your IPv6 Address.

– Enter “http://(the unit’s IP address)” into your web

browser’s address bar.

– Select “Network Setup” from your web browser.

– The Link Local IPv6 Address will be displayed.
