Menus, Dialog Boxes and Tool Buttons
To set a value using a slider or knob, click the corresponding element and drag it to the desired
position. You can also enter the values in entry fields via the keyboard.
Drop-Down List Boxes
Some windows have drop-down list boxes. Click the arrow or the visible list
entry to open the list. Then select an entry by clicking it.
Buttons in Dialog Boxes
These buttons apply to all settings of a dialog box.
Apply and Close
Click to apply the dialog box settings to the current item and close the dialog box.
Cancel
Click to close the dialog box without applying any changes. This is the same as closing the dialog
box from the title bar or the
ESC key.
