Video Editing
Duplicate Track
Click Duplicate Track to make a copy of the current Tra ck, including all the objects it contains,
and insert it below the current Track. The copy is assigned the same name and has the same set-
tings as the original.
Duplicate Track Empty
Click Duplicate Track Empty to make a copy of the current Tra c k , without its contents (i.e. just the
settings). The copy is inserted below the current Tra c k and assigned the same name as the origi-
nal.
Delete Track
Click Delete Track to delete the current Tr a c k from the Timeline. The system prompts you for con-
firmation.
Rename
Click Rename to rename a Tra c k . In the edit dialog box that appears, enter a name of up to 31
characters. The default names given to Tr ack s are Name 1, Name 2, etc.
Track names help you maintain an overview of the various Tra c k s on the Timeline, but
have no effect on a Tr a c k’s functions - every Tra c k on the Timeline has the same functions.
Only activating video or audio playback influences a Tra c k’s functions.
