Precautionary Statements
 Prevention:
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Wash hands
thoroughly after handling. Avoid release of large quantities to
the environment.
 Storage:
Keep out of reach of children. Keep
containers closed when not in use. Store
in a cool, dry area. Keep away from heat,
sparks or open flame.
 Response:
IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with
water for 15-20 minutes. IF ON SKIN: Take off contaminated
clothing. Rinse skin with plenty of water for 15 – 20 minutes.
IF SWALLOWED: Get prompt medical attention. Give a
glassful of water. Do not induce vomiting.
 Disposal:
Dispose in accordance with all applicable
local, state and federal regulations.

SECTION 4 – FIRST-AID MEASURES
For treatment advice, call a Poison Control Center or a doctor.
Ingestion
 Do not induce vomiting.
 Drink large quantities of water or milk.
 Apply other supportive measures as indicated by the patient’s clinical condition.
 Get immediate medical attention.
Inhalation
 Remove patient from exposure to fresh air.
 Get medical attention if respiratory irritation is present or if breathing is difficult.
Skin
 Remove patient from exposure.
 Rinse affected area with plenty of water and soap for at least 15 minutes, while removing all soiled clothing.
 Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists.
Eyes
 Remove patient from exposure.
 Remove contact lenses if necessary and immediately irrigate the affected eye thoroughly with water or 0.9%
saline for at least 10-15 minutes, until no evidence of chemical remains.
 Get medical attention.
