UNLOADING PROCEDURES
If your Carbine is in shooting position and
you have decided not to continue shooting,
follow these rules carefully:
Point the carbine in a safe direction.
Make sure your hands are dry and you are
not wearing gloves, handwraps etc.
To begin unloading your carbine, fi rst enga-
ge the manual safety located on the right
side of the receiver: Pull the lever (Part #28)
rearward until it aligns with the red dot

Remove the magazine from the magazi-
ne well by pushing the magazine release
(Part # 44) pushing it towar

With your other hand hold the magazine and
pull it downward. picture N°6.
Now, remove the cartridge in the barrel
chamber
. Move the bolt handle (Part #17)
back all the way so that the bolt (Part # 7),
hinged with the handle, moves back with it

The extractor (Part # 10), will catch the bot-
tom of the cartridge carrying it outside the
barrel while the ejector (Part # 41) throws it
out completely.

rearm is now completely unloaded,
and you can release the bolt.

Remember that when you unload your car-
bine a loaded cartridge is always ejected
and it falls out.
DO NOT FORGET ABOUT THIS CARTRIDGE
Always pick it up to avoid any mishaps
with loaded, unclaimed ammunition.
ALWAYS check the chamber to make cer-
tain it is empty.
Check the area around where you were
shooting and CLEAN UP any spent brass,
broken targets and other trash.
