UART Settings dialog
Location:
Serial Decoding dialog > RS232/UART format > Bit Definitions
Purpose:
sets up parameters of your RS232 data format so PicoScope can decode
the data
Signal Idle
State:
The state, low or high, of the signal when no data present.
Data bits:
The number of bits in the word.
Parity:
The type of error-correction bit, if any, added to each word.
Stop bits:
The number of extra bits used to indicate the end of a word.
Bit Order:
Whether the least-significant or the most-significant bit occurs first.
