CSV (Comma delimited) files (.csv)
Stores waveforms as a text file with comma-
separated values. This format is suitable for
importing into spreadsheets such as Microsoft
Excel. The first value on each line is the time
stamp, and it is followed by one value for
each active channel, including currently
displayed math channels. (Details)
Text (Tab delimited) files (.txt)
Stores waveforms as a text file with tab-
separated values. The values are the same as
those in the CSV format. (Details)
Bitmap images (.bmp)
Stores a picture of the waveforms, graticule
and rulers in Windows BMP format. The
image is 800 pixels wide by 600 pixels high,
in 16 million colors, and uncompressed. BMP
files are suitable for importing into Windows
desktop-publishing programs.
GIF images (.gif)
Stores the waveforms, graticule and rulers
in Compuserve GIF format. The image is
800 pixels wide by 600 pixels high, in 256
colors, and compressed. GIF files are widely
used to illustrate web pages.
Animated GIF image (*.gif)
Creates an animated GIF that displays all of
the waveforms in the buffer in sequence.
Each waveform is formatted as in the single
GIF format described above.
PNG images (.png)
Stores the graticule , rulers and
waveforms in Portable Network Graphics
format. The image is 800 pixels wide by 600
pixels high, in 16 million colors, and
compressed.
Matlab 4 files (.mat)
Stores the waveform data in Matlab 4 format
