USB DrDAQ Digital Outputs control
Location:
USB DrDAQ Channels toolbar > Digital Outputs button:
Purpose:
allows you to set the characteristics of the four digital outputs on the
screw-terminal block.
Each output has its own set of controls:
PWM/Out Control: Set to Out: you can set the output to either a fixed logic low
(near 0 V) or a fixed logic high (near 3.3 V)
Set to PWM: the output is a two-level waveform (alternating
between 0 V and 3.3 V) with variable Duty Cycle and
Period. The signal can be filtered to produce a DC level
proportional to the duty cycle.
Period: the time between successive pulses on the output
Duty Cycle: the percentage of the Period for which the output is high.
