3 Using the Defibrillator
Using the Defibrillator
Defibrillator does not
deliver voice
instructions or beeping
tones after you open it
(turn it on)
Depleted internal battery Administer CPR if the victim
is not responding, not
breathing normally, or not
moving.
Replace the CHARGE-PAK
battery charger as soon as
possible. After the
OK symbol
appears on the readiness
display, return the defibrillator
to service.
Contact authorized service
personnel.
Speaker system failure Administer CPR if the victim
is not responding, not
breathing normally, or not
moving.
Contact authorized service
personnel.
The readiness display
is blank
The defibrillator has been turned on Normal condition when the
defibrillator is in use.
Operating temperature is too low or too
high
Operate the defibrillator
within 0° to 50°C (32° to
122°F).
LCD not operating properly Contact authorized service
personnel.
