3 Using the Defibrillator
Using the Defibrillator
Defibrillator does not
deliver voice
instructions or beeping
tones after you open it
(turn it on)
Depleted internal battery • Administer CPR if the victim
is not responding, not
breathing normally, or not
moving.
• Replace the CHARGE-PAK
battery charger as soon as
possible. After the
OK symbol
appears on the readiness
display, return the defibrillator
to service.
• Contact authorized service
personnel.
Speaker system failure • Administer CPR if the victim
is not responding, not
breathing normally, or not
moving.
• Contact authorized service
personnel.
The readiness display
is blank
The defibrillator has been turned on • Normal condition when the
defibrillator is in use.
Operating temperature is too low or too
high
• Operate the defibrillator
within 0° to 50°C (32° to
122°F).
LCD not operating properly • Contact authorized service
personnel.
