Tip
Turn o all devices (cameras and Phottix Hec-
tor 9HD) when connecting and disconnecting
them to one another.
1. Charging the battery
1.Align a battery with the Battery Port area on the
Battery Charger. 2.Plug the charger into Mains power.
3.The Status LED on the Charger will turn red when
the battery is charging. 4.The Status LED on the
Charger will turn green when charging is complete.
2. Inserting Batteries
1.Align a charged battery with the Battery Port
area on the back of the Hector 9HD.
2.Push the battery down, locking it in place.
3. Using the Power Adapter
1.Plug Power Adapter into Mains power.
2.Connect the other end of the Adaptor to the
Mains Power Port on the Hector 9HD.
4. Turning ON/OFF
The Battery On/O Switch on the back of the Hec-
tor 9HD powers o all functions when set to the O
position. If left on with a battery in place and the LCD
switched o the Hector 9HD will continue to use
battery power. If you are not using the Hector for an
extended period of time move the Battery On/O
Switch to the o position.1.After attaching the bat-
tery, move the Battery On/O switch to On.2. When
nished using the Hector 9HD move the Battery On/
O switch to O.
5. Setting Video Source
You must select the video input source when using
the Hector 9HD
1.Press the Source button to open the source se-
lection menu. 2.Press the Source button to cycle
through the available input options. 3. Leave the
selection highlighted - the Hector 9HD will auto-
matically switch that input source.
