IMPORTANT:
• ALL INSTALLATION WORK SHOULD BE DONE BY ACCREDITED PROFESSIONAL.
• SHUT OFF POWER SUPPLY AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER!
• USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED BULBS. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE!
PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Carefully remove all of the contents from the carton. See the
important notes above. Shut off the power at the circuit breaker
andcompletelyremovetheoldxturefromtheceiling,including
theoldmountingstrap.
Removethemountingstrapassemblyfromthepartsbag.One
endofnipple(F)shouldbeattachedtomountingstrap(A)with
washerandhexnut(C&D)inplace.Theotherendshouldhave
decorative nut (H) attached.
Attachmountingstrap(A)tothejunctionboxusingmounting
screws(B)andascrewdriver.Tightensecurely.Unscrew
decorative nut (H) from nipple (F) and place it aside for later use.
ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE
Measuretodeterminethecorrectlengthofrodsneededfor
properhangingheight.Thereare3optional12inchrods(M)and
a6inchrod(L)includedforeachsideofthexture.Therodscan
beconnectedtothecanopyusingswiveljoint(I).Eachrodcan
beconnectedtoanotherbythreadingnipple(K)intotheinsideof
anotherrod.Tolengthenthexture,youmayaddadditionalrods.
Ifadditionalrodsareneeded,contacttheplaceofpurchaseto
order.Toshortenthexture,removeundesiredrodsandtrimthe
wirestothedesiredlengthaddingatleast8to10inchesofwire
tothedesiredlength.Keepinmindthatyoumustuseatleastthe
provided6inchrods(L)tohangthexture.Decidetheheightand
threadthewiresthroughonesetofrods.Pullthewiresuntiltaut
beforethreadingtherodstogether.Threadthebottomofrods
(M or L) onto posts (N). Thread and slide the threaded nipple of
thetoprodsintoswiveljoints(I).Lockthetoprodsinplaceby
tighteningscrews(J)intothesidesofswiveljoint(I).Secureswivel
joints(I)ontocanopy(G)andtightenhexnuts(T)andwashers(U)
toensurethatswiveljoints(I)aresecure.Pullthexture’swires
throughthetopoftherods.
CONNECTING THE WIRES
Haveanassistantsupportthexture’sweightwhilecompleting
thewiring.Cutawayexcesswire.Attachthexture’swiresto
thepowersupplywiresfromthejunctionbox.Connectblackto
black(orsmooth);whitetowhite(orribbed);groundtoground
(greenorcopper).Twisttheendsofthewirepairstogether,then
twist on a wire connector. Make sure all twists are in the same
direction.Ifthereisnogroundwire(greenorcopper)fromthe
junctionbox,locategroundscrew(E)onmountingstrap(A)and
wrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundthegreengroundscrew(E).
Useascrewdrivertosecuregroundscrew(E)ontothemounting
bracket.Tuckallwiresneatlyintothejunctionbox.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
Pushcanopy(G)uptotheceilingandtightlythreadnut(H)onto
theexposedthreadsofnipple(F).
Slidecandlesleeves(O)overthesockets.Slideglassshades(P)
overthesocketandsecurebypushingtheglassdownontothe
sockettter.
Installlightbulbs(Q)(notincluded)inaccordancewith
thexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthemaximum
recommendedwattage.
Your installation is now complete. Turn on the power and test the
xture.
CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the
xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.
