Switching to "Default"
mode
When the switch is reset to "Default" mode from "PROFINET" mode, the following settings
are made:
– LLDP remains active with the values default upon delivery.
– IP address assignment is set to BootP.
– The station name for the switch does not change. If no station name has been
specified, the device type is entered.
8.2 Switch as a PROFINET IO Device
8.2.1 Configuration in the Engineering Tool
8.2.1.1 Specifying the Bus Configuration
The switch can be operated as a PROFINET IO device if it is integrated under a control
system in the bus configuration in the engineering tool.
It is recommended to save the new configuration after changing operating mode. Please
note that some configuration modifications only take effect after a restart.
