Replacement
Except for the lamp, the appliance does not contain any serviceable parts.
The lamp has to be replaced when it stops burning or when the light output decreases (also see
chapter ‘Important’). You must replace the lamp with a Philips 100W E27 SOFTONE softwhite 230V
T55 lamp. Only this lamp provides the correct light intensity.
Replacing the lamp
1 Unplugtheappliance.
2 Lettheappliancecooldownforapprox.15minutes.
3 Toopenthelampreplacementhatch,rstpushtheribatthebottominwards(1)andthen
slidethehatchupwardswithsomeforce(2)(Fig.28).
4 Tiltthelampreplacementhatchoutwardsasfarasitgoes(Fig.29).
5 Unscrewtheoldlamp(1)andremoveitfromthelampholder(2)(Fig.30).
6 Screwanewlampinthelampholder.
Environment
Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but
hand it in at an ofcial collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the
environment (Fig. 31).
