2. INSTALLATION. HOW DO | INSTALL THE VIDEO RECORDER ? Connecting the video recorder The scary socket has an input/output function. Connect your TV set to this socket. 3. STORING TV CHANNELS In order that your video recorder can record TV programmed, the TV channels {e.g. “BBC} must first be stored in the video recorder. You can store channels. Your video recorder has a receiver of its own. This means it can be used independently of the TV set. The “Easy Link” function PLONK) This friction enables your video record to exchange information with the TV set. 4. PLAYING A RECORDED CASSETTE In chapter 2, you have learned how to connect the video recorder to the TV set. 6. HOW DO | PROGRAMMER A RECORDING? This chapter deals with the ways in which the video recorder can be programmed. |t switches itself on automatically, records the desired programmer and then switches itself off automatically.
I Programming using “VIDEO Plus+” Using this method, programming becomes as easy as dialing a telephone number. Your need only enter the {three 1o nine-digit) VIDEO Plus+ code that is printed beside the start time of the TV programmer. The VIDEO Plus+ code gan be entered in the 0SD page on screen or in the video recorder display. Programming with TXT pages With the help of the remote control handset, the onscreen user's guide and the page memory, TIMER programming is considerably facilitated. Programming TIMER {Standard Timer) Data on six recordings can be entered and stored in the video recorder.
