4. PLAYING A RECORDED CASSETTE With this video recorder, you can play any video cassette which has been recorded with the VHS or S-VHS format. It can also play video cassettes which have been recorded with the SCENT standard on other video recorders. @ Switch on the TV set. 5. HOW DOES THE VIDEO RECORDER RECORD ? / This video recorder is provided with its own reception unit. This means that it can record TV broadcasts independently of the TV set. Existing recordings are automatically erased when making new recordings on the cassette. Insert a cassette which is not protected against recording into the video recorder. 7. EDITING VIDEO RECORDINGS It is not possible to simply cut video tapes with a pair of scissors then splice them.
