The tape’s length {for example, E 180} appear in the video recorder’s display. For cassettes which do not have a standard tape length, you must manually enter the length of the tape and confirm.

Setting or erasing VIZ code marks manually: To find certain positions on the tape quickly, you can set and erase code marks by yourself. If you want to set a code mark, proceed as follows: © During playback, search for the position on the tape to be marked. © At the right position, press button SCHWEITZER.
