2. INSTALLATION. HOW DO I INSTALL THE VIDEO RECORDER? What is VPS (Video Programming System)? With VP, the TV station controls when the video recorder is switched on and off. This means that the video recorder switches itself on and off at the right time even if a TV programmer you have programmed begins earlier or finishes later than expected. Assuming, that is, that the TV station actually transmits VPS. You can see if a TV station is transmitting a VPS ‘time code by the indication 'VPS’ that appears in the display in the "STOP or 'PAUSE’ mode.
