Delete Tape Data
If you do not want to keep data of a
particular tape in the Tape Manager
memory, this function is useful to
release memory.
Perform step 1 of “Title Editing” on
page 14 before continuing.
1Select Tape Title
Press PLAY or STOP to select
the tape title, then press CLEAR.
2Delete Tape Data
1 Press PLAY or STOP to select
“YES”, then press OK/STATUS.
3Finish Deletion
Press MENU.
Delete Programme Data
If you want to delete a programme
from the Tape Manager memory, this
function is useful to increase blank
space.
Perform step 1 of “Title Editing” on
page 15 before continuing.
1Select Programme
Press PLAY or STOP to select
the programme you want to delete, then
press CLEAR.
2Delete Programme Data
Press PLAY or STOP to select
“YES”, then press OK/STATUS.
3Finish Deletion
Press MENU.
Note:
• When you delete data, only the tape
and/or programme information in
the Tape Manager memory is
deleted. The actual recording on the
tape is not erased.
To Check Memory
With this function, you can check the
amount of used memory for the tape
manager data.
1Select Tape Manager Mode
1 Press VCR.
2 Press MENU.
3 Press PLAY or STOP to select
“TAPE MANAGER”, then press
OK/STATUS.
2Check Tape Manager Memory
Press PLAY or STOP to select
“CHECK MEMORY”, then press OK
STATUS. The CHECK MEMORY
screen appears;
To Turn Off Tape Manager
If you do not want to use the Tape
Manager functions, set “TAPE
MANAGER” to “OFF”.
1Select Tape Manager Mode
1 Press VCR.
2 Press MENU.
3 Press PLAY or STOP to select
“TAPE MANAGER”, then press
OK/STATUS.
2To Turn Off Tape Manager
Press PLAY or STOP to select
“TAPE MANAGER”, then press FF
to set to “OFF”.
