Find Title by Sorting
There are three ways to find which tape
the desired programme was recorded
on.
• Sorting by Tape Number; This
function is useful for finding what
programme was recorded on each
tape.
• Sorting by Date; This function is
useful for finding if you remember
when the desired programme was
recorded.
• Sorting by Category; This function
is useful for finding if you remember
what category the desired pro-
gramme was sorted in.
Sorting by Tape Number
1Select Find Title Mode
1 Press VCR.
2 Press MENU.
3 Press PLAY or STOP to select
“TAPE MANAGER”, then press
OK/STATUS. The following screen
appears:

1 Press PLAY or STOP to select
“FIND TITLE”, then press OK/
STATUS. The Find Title Screen
appears:
2 Press PLAY or STOP to select
“BY TAPE NO.”, then press OK/
STATUS.
3Select Programme
1 Press PLAY or STOP to select
the title you want, then press OK/
STATUS.
If the tape inserted in the VCR
corresponds to the required tape
number;
The VCR searches and starts
playback when the selected pro-
gramme is located.
If the tape inserted in the VCR
does not correspond to the
required tape number;
“INSERT TAPE 0030 (example)”
appears and the tape is ejected. Insert
the correct tape. The VCR searches
and starts playback when the
selected programme is located.
If no cassette is inserted in the
VCR;
“INSERT TAPE 0030 (example)”
appears. Insert the correct tape. The
VCR searches and starts playback
when the selected programme is
located.
Sorting by Date
Perform step 1 of “Sorting By Tape
Number” before continuing.
1Select Date Mode
1 Press PLAY or STOP to select
“FIND TITLE”, then press OK/
STATUS. The Find Title Screen
appears:
2 Press PLAY or STOP to select
“BY DATE”, then press OK/
STATUS.
2Select Programme
1 Press PLAY or STOP to select
the title you want, then press OK/
STATUS.
If the tape inserted in the VCR
corresponds to the required tape
number;
The VCR searches and starts

If the tape inserted in the VCR
does not correspond to the
required tape number;
“INSERT TAPE 0007 (example)”
appears and the tape is ejected. Insert
the correct tape. The VCR searches

“INSERT TAPE 0007 (example)”
appears. Insert the correct tape. The
VCR searches and starts playback
when the selected programme is
located.
