1 Connect A Position the base Place the base within reach of the telephone line and power sockets. B Connect the cables Plug the line cord and power cable into the sockets at the back of the base. Tip Placing the base too close to large metal objects or electrical appliances can impair the range and sound quality. Thick walls may also impair transmission of signals to and from the base. C Plug into the sockets Plug the other end of the cables into the wall sockets.

Unplug your phone then plug back in the mains power. • Batteries are empty – charge the batteries for at least 24 hours. • You may be too far from the base – move closer. • Use the line cable provided. Poor sound quality • Move closer to the base. • Move the base at least one metre away from any electrical appliances. The icon is blinking • Move closer to the base.
