Removing the rechargeable batteries
Only remove the rechargeable batteries if they are completely empty.
1 Disconnect the appliance from the adapter.
2 Let the appliance operate until the batteries are completely empty.
Switch on the appliance and release ashes until you can no longer
switch on the appliance.
3 Insert an awl or another pointed tool into the bottom cap of the
appliance and pry off the bottom cap.
4 Undo the two screws in the bottom of the handle with a
screwdriver.
5 Remove the bottom part of the handle and cut the two wires that
connect the bottom part to the appliance.
6 Pull the battery connectors off the battery terminals with long nose
pliers.
7 Pull the rechargeable batteries out of the appliance with long
nose pliers.
