Update Firmware
Your player is controlled by an internal program called Firmware. We recommend to

1. If you installed the Philips Firmware Manager from the CD-ROM before then remove it
from your computer by deleting the 
2. Download the new Philips Firmware Manager from the website.
3. Connect the SA5000 to your computer using the USB cable.
4. Double click the "Philips Firmware Manager" icon on the desktop
to start the program. You will see the window shown as in the image.
5. Click "Update" to update your Firmware.
6. Disconnect the SA5000 safely from your computer.
