Specifications

1. POWER – Turns the source unit on and off.
2.
MODE – Selects between TUNER, CDP, CDX,
and AUX* modes.
3.
SEL – Selects between VOLUME, BASS, TREBLE,
BALANCE, FADER, and SUM* modes.
4.
MUTE/PAUSE – Mutes the audio in TUNER and
AUX* modes, and pauses the disc in CDP/CDX
mode.
5.
RPT – Repeats the track in CD/CDX mode.
6.
SCAN – Scans each track on the disc in
CDP/CDX mode.
7.
DISC (+/–) – Manually tunes the radio station in
TUNER mode and the previous/next disc in CDX mode.
8.
ROOT – Returns unit to root directory in MP3 mode (9300 and 9400 models only).
9.
DIR – Cycles up and down through the directory in MP3 mode (9300 and 9400
models only).
10.
ENTER – Enables tracks in MP3 mode (9300 and 9400 models only).

TRACK ACC – Directly accesses the desired track in the in-dash CD player.

AS – Press to store the strongest radio stations in each tuner bank in AUTO STORE
mode.

DISC ACC – Directly accesses the desired CD in the optional CD changer.

PTY – Allows priority broadcasts to interrupt all other functions in international
units only.

RDM – Selects tracks at random in CDP/CDX mode.
16.
AF/TP – Allows genre music selection on international units only.
17.
BAND – Selects which bank of tuner presets (FM1, FM2, or AM) should be active.
18.
DISP – Toggles between different display features in main display; when pressed and
held for 1 second, toggles clock between hours and minutes.
19.
R.SEAT – Enables passengers in rear seat to disable rear speakers and listen to sec-
ondary audio source (tuner, CD player, Nintendo, etc.) via headphones.
20.
PUNCH – Enables bass response to be boosted at low and high levels.
21.
SEEK/TRACK / – Selects the previous/next radio station in TUNER mode
and selects the previous/next track in CDP/CDX mode.
22.
VOL / – Controls VOLUME, BASS, TREBLE, BALANCE, FADER, and SUM*.
NOTE: 0-9 BUTTONS select presets 1-10 in TUNER mode, selects tracks in CDP/CDX
mode, and selects discs in CDX mode.
