Specifications
The ROOT Level contains the name of the disc, but no folder or
song information. The first song on the disc will automat~calfy
begin playing when a disc IS Inserted and will contmue playing
until you select another s
/ The MP3 file management system IS a folder-based system similar to the WindowsrM
Pile Manager. Because of this, the UP and DOWN keys function differently than they
do in CD or Tuner Mode. Instead of going forward or backward through your disc
respectively, they go up and down through the file list.
1 Press the ROOT button and the display will show
the disc name. The display will then rmmediate-
ly swatch to show the name of the first foider on
the disc and display it for 5 seconds. If no action
IS taken during thus 5
second
perrod, the display
will default back to the song currently playrng.
2. While the name of the first folder 1s showrng,
press the DOWN button to scroll alphabetrcally
(A to Z) through the list of folders. Press the UP
button to scroll in reverse.
3. Press the ENTER button and the name of the first song rn the selected folder will
be displayed.
4. Press the DOWN button to scroll numerrcally (I to 10 or higher) through the
songs contarned in the selected folder. Press the UP button to scroll through
the songs from 106 to 1
NOTE: If The song name will remain displayed for 5 seconds zn steps I through 4 above. If no action
IS taken durmg this 5 second pertod, the display will default back to the song currently playmg.
5. press ENTER to select the song and the song will begin playing.
NOTE: If no disc IS loaded into the CD player, NO CD will be displayed and the source urut will
revert back to AUXI mode.
