Make sure that you have connected Connect
to the Internet.
Registration
RegisterConnect
To regis ter Connect with www.philips.
com/welcome, use an email address as your
account. Then, complete the registration
through the Web page link that you received
in the email.
1 Make sure that Connect is connected to
the Internet.
2 To register the Connect,
Select • [Registration] > [Register];
Enter your valid email address;•
You receive an email message »
from [e-mail].
On a computer, use the Web •
page link in the email to complete
registration.
Check registration information
You can check whether you have registered
your Connect, whether you have completed
the registration on a computer, and what
account you have used for registration.
Tap • [Registration] > [Registration
information].
UnregisterConnect
To use another email address as your account
with www.philips.com/welcome, you can
unregister Connect.
1 Tap [Registration] > [Unregister].
2 Confirm as prompted.
Touch screen calibration
On Connect, you tap to select an option.
With the touch screen calibrated, your taps
can be precisely positioned on the display
screen.
1 Tap [Touch panel calibration] to start
calibration.
Storage use
In Storage use, check the storage that
applications occupy.
Battery use
In Battery use, check the battery use by
applications.
Development
In [Development], select options for your
development of Android applications.
[USB
debugging]
Allow the player to enter the
mode where the player can
communicate with the PC
through the USB cable.
[Stay
awake]
Keep the screen switched on
and unlocked during the USB
connection.
[Allow
mock
location]
Make the location undetected
by the player.
[Auto
mount
USB Mass
Storage]
Allow the player to work as
USB mass storage when you
connect the player to a PC.
General
Sleep timer
Switch on the sleep timer. The Connect can
turn off automatically after a certain time
duration.
In • [Sleep timer], tap to select an option.
After the selected time duration, the »
device is turned off automatically.
Firmware upgrades
In [Firmware upgrade], check for firmware
upgrades for Connect.
