7 Troubleshooting If you encounter problems when using this DVD player, check the following points before requesting for service. If the problem remains unsolved, go to the Philips web site (www.Philips.com/support), or contact Philips (see Contact information). When you contact Philips, ensure that your player is nearby and the model number and serial number are available. To Keep the warranty valid, never try to repair the DVD player by yourself.

Distorted picture •• Check the disc for fingerprints and clean with a soft cloth, wiping from centre to edge. •• Sometimes a small amount of picture distortion may appear. This is not a malfunction.
