Basic Functions English Adjusting volume and sound CD STANDBY ON PROGRAM 1 Turn the VOLUME control anti-clockwise to decrease or clockwise to increase volume on the system (or press VOLUME -/+ on the remote control). ➜ Display shows the volume level VOL and a number from 0-32. 2 Press the Interactive sound control, DSC on the system or remote control once or more to select the desired sound effect: OPTIMAL (no indication)/ ROCK ( ) / JAZZ ( )/ POP ( ).
CD STANDBY ON 5 To interrupt playback press PLAY•PAUSE 2; (on the remote control SIDE/;). Press PROGRAM on the system or remote control for more than 2 seconds to activate programming. ➜ AUTO is displayed and available stations are programmed in order of waveband reception strength: FM followed by AM. The last preset automatically stored will then be played.
