Introduction

Important
Read this user manual carefully before you use the appliance and save it for
future reference.
Danger
- Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid and do not
rinse it under the tap. Only use a moist cloth to clean the motor unit.
Warning
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Philips, its service
agent or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Do not touch the cutting edges of the blade units under any conditions,
especially when the appliance is plugged in. The cutting edges are very
sharp.
- Be careful when you pour hot liquid into the beaker, as hot liquid and
steam may cause scalding.
- This appliance is intended for normal household use only. It is not
intended for use in environments such as sta kitchens of shops, oces,
farms or other work environments. Nor is it intended to be used by clients
in hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts and other residential environments.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
- Do not allow children to use the blender without supervision.
- Do not use the appliance if the plug, the mains cord or other parts are
damaged or have visible cracks.
- Never use a chopper blade unit without a chopper bowl.
- To avoid splashing, always immerse the blender bar into the ingredients
before you switch on the appliance, especially when you process hot
ingredients.
- If one of the blade unit gets stuck, unplug the appliance before you
remove the ingredients that block the blade units.
- Never process hard ingredients like ice cubes with the appliance.
- Always unplug the device from power supply before changing
accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
- Thoroughly clean the parts that come into contact with food before
you use the appliance for the rst time. Refer to the instructions in the
manual.
- Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local
mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
Caution
- Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended
and before you assemble, disassemble, store or cleaning.
- Do not use the appliance with any of the accessories longer than 3
minutes without interruption. Let the appliance cool down for 15 minutes
before you continue processing.
- None of the accessories is suitable for use in the microwave, except the
soup container.
- Keep the motor unit away from heat, re, moisture and dirt.
- Only use this appliance for its intended purpose as shown in the user
manual.
- Never ll the beaker, XL chopper bowl (specic types only) or compact
chopper bowl (specic types only) with ingredients that are hotter than
80°C/175°F.
- Do not exceed the quantities and processing times indicated in the table.
- Never use any accessories or parts from other manufacturers or that
Philips does not specically recommend. If you use such accessories or
parts, your guarantee becomes invalid
- Clean the blade unit of the blender bar under the tap. Never immerse the
power unit in water.
- After cleaning, let the blender bar dry. Store it either horizontally or with
the blade pointing downwards.
Electromagnetic elds (EMF)
This Philips appliance complies with all applicable standards and regulations
regarding exposure to electromagnetic elds.
Trigger switch
This appliance is equipped with a trigger switch and a visual speed indication
on top of the device. (Fig. 1)
The deeper you press, the higher the speed gets. The speed indication on
top shows you the “low speed range”, medium speed range and “high speed
range marked with “T” (Turbo).

doing this, you help to preserve the environment.

and electronic products. Correct disposal helps prevent negative
consequences for the environment and human health.

Vanilla Ice Cream with hot rasperries
This recipe can be prepared with the XL chopper. The XL chopper is not
supplied as a standard accessory with every model in this product range, but
it can be ordered as an extra accessory. See chapter “Ordering accessories”.
- 150g honey
- 120g vanilla ice cream
- 115g raspberries
1. Put the honey in the fridge for several hours at 3°C.
2. Put the XL chopper blade unit in the XL chopper bowl and pour the
honey in the bowl.
3. Put the vanilla ice cream in the XL chopper bowl and put the bowl into
the freezer for 15 minutes at -18°C.
4. In the meantime cook the raspberry in a cooking pot on the stove.
5. Take the XL chopper bowl out of the freezer and pour the hot raspberries
on the vanilla ice cream.
6. Put the XL chopper lid on the bowl and then fasten the motor unit onto
the lid.
7. Press the trigger switch as far as it goes to reach the highest speed and
let the chopper operate for 5 seconds at this speed.

- Bersihkan secara cermat bagian-bagian yang bersentuhan dengan
makanan sebelum menggunakan alat ini untuk pertama kali. Lihat
petunjuk di dalam manual.
- Periksalah apakah voltase pada alat sesuai dengan voltase listrik di
rumah Anda, sebelum menghubungkan alat.
Perhatian

Tombol sakelar pemicu

kecepatan di bagian atas menunjukkan kepada Anda “kisaran kecepatan
rendah”, kisaran kecepatan sedang, dan “kisaran kecepatan tinggi yang
ditandai dengan “T” (Turbo).

Es Krim Vanila dengan Raspberry Panas
Resep ini dapat disiapkan menggunakan perajang XL. Perajang XL tidak
disertakan sebagai aksesori standar pada setiap model dalam jajaran produk
ini, tetapi bisa dipesan sebagai aksesori tambahan. Lihat bab “Memesan
aksesori”.
- 150g madu
- 120g es krim vanila
- 115g raspberry
1. Masukkan madu ke dalam kulkas selama beberapa jam dengan suhu 3°C.
2. Masukkan unit pisau perajang XL ke dalam mangkuk perajang XL lalu
tuangkan madu ke dalam mangkuk.
3. Masukkan es krim vanila ke dalam mangkuk perajang XL, kemudian
masukkan mangkuk ke dalam freezer bersuhu -18°C selama 15 menit.
4. Sambil menunggu es krim mendingin, masak raspberry di dalam panci di
atas kompor.
5. Keluarkan mangkuk perajang XL dari freezer lalu tuangkan rapsberry
panas di atas es krim vanila.
6. Pasang tutup perajang XL pada mangkuk dan pasang unit motor pada
tutup.
7. Tekan sakelar pemicu sedalam mungkin untuk mencapai kecepatan
tertinggi dan biarkan perajang bekerja selama 5 detik dengan tingkat
kecepatan ini.
