[USB upgrade]: Update the firmware of the player through a USB storage device. 6 EasyLink The playersupports Philips EasyLink which uses the HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) protocol. 7 Update the firmware Before you update the firmware, check current firmware version of the player. To check the firmware version, • On the Home screen, go to [Setup] > [MISC] > [Version Info.]. On the Home screen of the player, select [Setup] > [MISC] > [Online upgrade]. »» If a firmware update is detected, you are prompted to start the update. Follow onscreen instructions to complete the update.
