4.3 Speaking after fax transmission
Whilst sending a fax, lift the handset. The other party will hear a
ringing signal at the end of the fax transmission and will then know
that you wish to speak to him.
After a fax transmission the other party may wish to speak to you.
In this case you will hear a ringing signal after the transmission.

4.4 Polling
Polling means that your fax machine can retrieve fax messages which have been prepared for collection from
another fax.
