Lithium-ion batteries, which must be disposed of

properly.

Philips Electronics North America Corporation

(USA) and Philips Electronics Ltd (Canada) warrant

each new Philips product, model HF8440 against

defects in materials or workmanship for a period

of two years from the date of purchase, and agree

to repair or replace any defective product without

charge. IMPORTANT: This warranty does not cover

damage resulting from accident, misuse or abuse, lack

of reasonable care, or the afxing of any attachment

not provided with the product.
