Software update for the Philips HDT8520 Freeview+ HD recorder

The new software 7.21 is available

1. On the Philips web site (at www.philips.com/support) under the “Software & drivers” heading. The

file allows the upgrade of your receiver via the USB interface of your recorder; for more

information consult the user manual.

Via Over The Air download (OAD) from the 29

of June 2011 (10:00) up to the 1

of July (9:00).

The new software 7.21 fixes the following issues

 Video stuttering observed on v7.19 software, when playing back recorded files from HDD or

from the Time Shift Buffer.

 Crash in library when trying to access one of the ongoing recordings while 2 simultaneous HD

recordings are in progress.
