Removing tea stains
During use, tea stains may build up on the base, on the inside and outside
of the teapot and on the lter. Using lemon juice is a very effective way to
remove tea stains.
1 Let the teapot cool down and remove it from the base.
2 Unplug the base.
3 Put some fresh or concentrated lemon juice on a cloth moistened
with water.
4 Wipe the base and the outside of the teapot with the cloth
moistened with water and lemon juice.
Do not let the moist cloth come into contact with the connectors (on
the base and on the underside of the teapot) and the mains plug.
Note: To clean the connection points of the handle and the spout, you can put
some lemon juice on a cotton bud.
5 Wipe the lter with the cloth moistened with water and lemon juice.
Note: If the lter is very dirty, you can also put it in a bowl lled with 50%
water and 50% lemon juice and let the lter soak for a while.
