Therefore, it is recommended to use water without minerals, such as distilled or purified water, to prolong the lifetime of your appliance. Do not put perfume, vinegar, starch, descaling agents, ironing aids or other chemicals in the water tank, as your appliance is not designed to work with these chemicals.

Troubleshooting Problem Possible cause Solution The appliance does not produce any steam. The steamer has not heated up sufficiently. The water tank is empty or not in place. Steam has condensed in the supply hose. Let the appliance heat up for approx. 1 minute. Refill the water tank and insert it properly. Lift the steamer head to straighten the supply hose. This allows any condensed water to flow back into the water tank. Hanger pole comes loose when I carry the steamer.
