Using the appliance
Note: The iron may give off some smoke when you use
it for the rst time. This ceases after a short while.
Ironing without steam
1 Set the steam control to position 0
(= no steam).
2 Settherequiredironingtemperature(see
chapter‘Preparingforuse’,section‘Selecting
thetemperatureandsteamsetting’).
Steam ironing
1 Makesurethatthereiswaterinthewater
tank.
2 Settherequiredironingtemperature(see
chapter‘Preparingforuse’,section‘Selecting
thetemperatureandsteamsetting’).
3 Settheappropriatesteamsetting(see
chapter‘Preparingforuse’,section‘Selecting
thetemperatureandsteamsetting’).
Note: The iron starts to produce steam as soon as it
reaches the set temperature.
