Ta pe Operation/Recording
IMPORTANT!
– Recording is permissible if copyright or
other rights of third parties are not
infringed upon.
– Recording is possible only in tape deck.
Preparation for recording
1 Load a recordable tape into tape deck with the
full spool to the left.
2 Prepare the source to the recorded.
DISC – load the disc (s)
TUNER – tune to the desired radio station.
AUX – connect external equipment.
When recording is in progress
1 Press DISC, TUNER or AUX to select the
source.
2 Start to play the selected source.
3 Press ● to start recording.
To stop recording
● Press 9 on the system.
Disc synchro recording
1 Press DISC to select the disc.
● You can record programmed tracks in the order
you want.
2 Press ● to start recording.
➜ “REC” will flash, but the first 9 seconds of the
start passage will not be recorded.
Selecting another track during recording
1 Press ; to interrupt recording.
2 Press O or P to select another track.
3 Press ; to resume recording.
To stop recording
● Press 90 .
➜ Recording and disc playback will stop
simultaneously.
Setting the sleep timer
The sleep timer enables the system to switch to
Standby mode automatically at a preset time.
● Press SLEEP/DIM on the remote control
repeatedly and stop at the desired preset turn-
off time.
➜ Following options are available (time in
minutes):
15 p30 p45 p60 p90 p120 pOFF
p......
➜ “zzz ” will show on the display panel unless
“OFF” is selected.
Timer Operations
To check or change the setting
● Press SLEEP/DIM once to show the remaining
time before switching off. If you continue
pressing the SLEEP/DIM button, the next
Sleep Timer option will appear on the display.
To cancel the sleep timer
● Press SLEEP/DIM repeatedly until “OFF” is
displayed or press the STANDBY ON button.
