- Put the appliance in upright position. To attach the nozzle to the appliance, insert the ridge on
the nozzle into the storage slot (Fig. 34).
Note: To ensure stable parking of the telescopic tube, adjust the tube to the shortest length.
- Store the appliance and its accessories in the box or plastic storage container. To nd out how
to do this, look at the storage gure at the beginning of this user manual.
Replacement
Replacing the Clean Air HEPA outlet lter
Your vacuum cleaner is equipped with a Clean Air HEPA outlet lter (service code 422 459 48841).
Replace the Clean Air HEPA outlet lter every 12 months.
1 Switch off and unplug the appliance.
2 Pullatthegripontheltergrille(1)andremoveitfromtheappliance(2)(Fig.35).
3 RemovetheCleanAirHEPAoutletlter(Fig.36).
4 InsertanewCleanAirHEPAoutletlterintotheappliance(Fig.37).
5 Reattachtheltergrilletotheappliance(‘click’)(Fig.38).

- Clean Air HEPA outlet lters are available under type number service code 422 459 48841.
- Filter cylinders are available under type number FC8028.
- Super Parquet nozzle pads are available under type number HR8041.
Environment
- The non-rechargeable batteries of the remote control contain substances that may pollute the
environment. Do not throw away non-rechargeable batteries with the normal household waste,
but dispose of them at an ofcial collection point for batteries. Always remove the batteries of
the remote control before you discard and hand in the appliance at an ofcial collection
point (Fig. 39).
- Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but
hand it in at an ofcial collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the
environment (Fig. 40).
