Cleaning the lters
Dust container and lter cylinder
For optimal performance, always empty the dust container after use and clean the lter
cylinder regularly.
1 Disconnectthehosefromtheappliance.
2 Pullatthecoverreleasetab(1)andopenthecover(2).(Fig.19)
Thedustcontainercannotberemovedfromthecanisterifthehoseisstillattached.
3 Removethedustcontainerfromtheappliance.(Fig.20)
4 Removethelidofthedustcontainer.(Fig.21)
5 Toremovetheltercylindercase,turnitanticlockwise(1)andliftitoutofthe
dust container (2). (Fig. 22)
6 Removetheltercylinderfromthedustcontainer.(Fig.23)
7 Tocleantheltercylinder,tapitagainstthesideofadustbin.(Fig.24)
Note: Be sure you are not losing the rubber sealing. Check if the sealing is still there after replacing back,
otherwise dust will go through the motor. (Fig. 25)
8 Emptythedustcontainerintoadustbin.(Fig.26)
9Puttheltercylinderbackintothedustcontainer.(Fig.27)
10Puttheltercylindercasebackontotheltercylinder(1)andturnitclockwiseto
xit(2).(Fig.28)
11 Reattachthelidofthedustcontainer(1)andcloseit(‘click’)(2).(Fig.29)
12 Putthedustcontainerbackintotheappliance.(Fig.30)
13 Close the cover (‘click’).
Exhaust lter
1 Todetachtheltergrille,pushthetabdownwards(Fig.31).
2 Takeouttheexhaustlter.Shakeoutthedirtoveradustbin(Fig.32).
3 Putbacktheexhaustlter(Fig.33).
4 Toreattachtheltergrilletothevacuumcleaner,alignthetworidgesofthegrillewiththe
twoslotsonthevacuumcleanerandclosethegrille(‘click’)(Fig.34).
Environment
- Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but
hand it in at an ofcial collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the
environment (Fig. 35).
