Cleaning the lters
Dust container and lter cylinder
For optimal performance, always empty the dust container after use and clean the lter
cylinder regularly.
1 Disconnectthehosefromtheappliance.
2 Pullatthecoverreleasetab(1)andopenthecover(2).(Fig.19)
Thedustcontainercannotberemovedfromthecanisterifthehoseisstillattached.
3 Removethedustcontainerfromtheappliance.(Fig.20)
4 Removethelidofthedustcontainer.(Fig.21)
5 Toremovetheltercylindercase,turnitanticlockwise(1)andliftitoutofthe
dust container (2). (Fig. 22)
6 Removetheltercylinderfromthedustcontainer.(Fig.23)
7 Tocleantheltercylinder,tapitagainstthesideofadustbin.(Fig.24)
Note: Be sure you are not losing the rubber sealing. Check if the sealing is still there after replacing back,
otherwise dust will go through the motor. (Fig. 25)
8 Emptythedustcontainerintoadustbin.(Fig.26)
9Puttheltercylinderbackintothedustcontainer.(Fig.27)
10Puttheltercylindercasebackontotheltercylinder(1)andturnitclockwiseto
xit(2).(Fig.28)
11 Reattachthelidofthedustcontainer(1)andcloseit(‘click’)(2).(Fig.29)
12 Putthedustcontainerbackintotheappliance.(Fig.30)
13 Close the cover (‘click’).
Exhaust lter
1 Todetachtheltergrille,pushthetabdownwards(Fig.31).
2 Takeouttheexhaustlter.Shakeoutthedirtoveradustbin(Fig.32).
3 Putbacktheexhaustlter(Fig.33).
4 Toreattachtheltergrilletothevacuumcleaner,alignthetworidgesofthegrillewiththe
twoslotsonthevacuumcleanerandclosethegrille(‘click’)(Fig.34).
Environment
- Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but
hand it in at an ofcial collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the
environment (Fig. 35).
