You can select a network other than your home
network only if it has a valid roaming agreement
with your home network. If you change the
network, some problems may arise during the
operation of your phone.
Pref. networks
This menu allows you to build a network list in
order of preference. Once defined, the phone will
try to register to the network according to your
preference.
GPRS link
This menu allows you to set the GPRS connection
mode. You can select Always or When needed.
Data account
This menu allows you to set your account
information. The existing account information is
supplied by the manufacturer.
CSD profiles
You can set: Account name, Number, User name,
Password, Line type, Speed and DNS.
GPRS profiles
You can set: Account name, APN, User name,
Password and Auth. Type.
Security
SIM lock
This menu allows you to set the PIN code On or
Off. The default setting is Off. If set to On, you have
to enter your PIN code when switching your phone
on. If the enter the wrong PIN code, you will not
be able to use most of the features in this phone.
Press
L to activate. Make sure that you have
entered the correct PIN code before you can
enable this feature.
Phone lock
This menu allows you to set a password for your
phone. The default setting is Off. Once you have set
Phone Lock, you must enter the password each
time you switch on your phone.
Enter the password and press
L
. If Phone Lock is
currently Off, the status will change to On and vice-
versa.
The default phone lock code is 1122.
Fixed dial
This menu allows you to restrict your outgoing
