32 Messaging
8. Messaging
This menu allows you to send and receive text or
multimedia messages, as well as manage the
messages you have sent and received. In idle mode,
press
L
to access the main menu, and then
select Messaging and press
L
OK to create, edit
and send your messages.
Create message
When writing messages, you can toggle
between T9 input and multitap by long pressing

"Text or number Entry".
SMS
SMS enables you to send text messages to the
other party, using Short Messaging Service (SMS).
You can use the SMS menu to send text messages
to another handphone or a device. To compose
and send a text message, follow the steps below:
1. Select Create message > SMS, enter your text
and press
L
to access the following
options:

Save as draft Save the message as a draft so
that you can edit, complete and
send later on.
Use template Insert a preset message.
Insert contacts
name
Insert a name from the contact
list.
Insert contacts
No.
Insert a number from the
contact list.
Insert bookmark Insert a bookmark from the list.
Contacts Send the message to the recipient
from the contacts list.
Group Send the message to all the
contacts in a caller group.
Phone number Enter the phone number of the
recipient.
