Note: Before you proceed to upgrade, please be reminded that you need to do configuration again each time

after firmware upgrade!

How do I check the current firmware version?

You are recommended to check the current firmware version before the firmware upgrade:

1. Turn on the DVD player.

2. Press the SETUP key to enter SETUP menu.

3. Press < ▼ > to navigate to Preferences menu

4. Press < ▼ > to navigate to Version Info. The current firmware information will display.

Check the firmware version on the player by looking at the last 2 digits, for example, BE Version: DVP33XX_XX.29. If

this upgrade version is later than the version on your set, we recommend you to do the upgrade to enjoy the new

benefits.

Burn the upgrade firmware on an Optical Disc?

1. Click the Download button on the page to save the firmware package on your computer.

2. Unzip the downloaded firmware package to get the firmware. Notes: DO NOT rename the firmware to avoid

upgrade failure.

3. Burn the extracted firmware onto a blank optical disc by using the below configurations and then finalize the

disc. (The disc burning application may do this automatically when the burning job is completed.)

 File System: ISO 9660 + Joliet

 File name length: max11 chars = 8+3 (Level 1)

 Mode: 2/XA

 Character set: ISO 9660 (ISO normal CD-ROM)

 No Multi Session

 Write Speed: Low

4. Finalize the disc. (This job may be auto executed by the burning software.)

Upgrade your DVD player by using an optical disc.

1. Turn on your player and insert the disc. A message will be displayed on the TV when the upgrade file is

recognized.

. Follow the TV screen to continue. 3. Press OK to upgrade (if applicable). After reading the file, the disc will be ejected. 4. Remove the disc after ejected, but DO NOT close the tray. 5. Wait approximately 3-5 minutes for the firmware to be upgraded. The player will auto go into standby mode once the upgrade is completed. 6. Upon wake up by press Standby-On key, please perform a “Default reset” in the Preference page under setup menu. 7.
