We have developed a firmware upgrade to improve your product.

This upgrade is applicable for the following model:

DVP3010/02

Upgrade Procedure

Check your current version

First check your current firmware version to see if you need to upgrade:

1. POWER ON the set.

2. Press SYSTEM MENU key to enter SETUP menu

3. Press < or > to navigate to GENERAL menu

4. Press keys 1,3,7,9 successively. Version table will be displayed on screen.

Click the link to save the software on your computer.

Burning Upgrade on CD-R / CD-RW

1. Extract the files by unzipping the zipped file. – DVP3010_02.zip

(Do not rename the filenames)

2. Write the extracted files – not the zip file – onto a blank CD-R or CD-RW disc,

using the following settings:

- File System CD-ROM Joliet

- File name length : max 31 chars (ISO Level 2)

- Mode : 2/XA

- Character set : ASCII

- Single session

- Write Speed : Low (e.g. 2x, 4x)

3. Finalized the disc. (The application may do this automatically.)

Philips AVS Step 4 Apply Upgrade to your Set 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Power on the set Put in the disc A message will be displayed on the OSD after the upgrade file is recognized Follow the instruction displayed on the TV Screen – Press “OK” to upgrade (if applicable) After reading the file, the disc will be ejected Remove the disc, but DO NOT close the tray Wait approximately 3-5 minutes for the software to be upgraded The set will restart itself once the upgrade is completed.
