Software Upgrade

Introduction
The upgrade version of this software is Version 09 and can be used to upgrade Philips DVD player
DVP3005K/96 to the latest status. OSD shows the zoom factor continuously if the zoom mode is
using. The upgrade allows the OSD to show the zoom factor for a few seconds and then drop away.
Tools Required
You will need the following items:
- A personal computer
- A CD-R/RW drive and writing application software
- A black CD-R or CD-RW disc
How to download the software to your computer
Right mouse button click on the file and click “Save Target As…” to save the zip file into your PC.
Unzip the .zip file and extract files into your PC.
Do not rename the filename DVP3005K_69.BIN
Before you upgrade
It is important to write down the system version information of your set before you start the upgrade
procedure. This information is also useful in case you need to call Philips Customer Care Center.
1. Power up the set and press <system menu> button on the remote control.
2. Press <1><3><7><9> button.
The software version and other information are display on the TV screen as follows:
