To remove a chapter before it
Press the Red button [ Merge ] on the
remote control.

6 To return to the previous menu, press the
Green button.
To exit the menu, press EDIT.
Note
The number of chapters that can be added in a title
is limited.

Delete all chapters
Remove all chapters from a title so that the title
is no longer separated into individual chapters.
1 Play a title.
2 Press EDIT.
3 Press the Red button [ No Chapter ] on
the remote control.
 All the chapters are deleted.
4 To exit the menu, press EDIT.

Divide titles
Divide a title into two titles. It allows you to
separate different parts of a recording, or
separate unwanted parts of a recording. These
unwanted titles can be deleted later.
Note
Once a title has been divided into two separate
titles, they cannot be reversed.
Divide title is not possible on DVD Rs.

1 Play a title.
2 Rotate the control wheel (or press b B) to
fi nd the scene where you want to divide
the title.
3 Press u to pause.
4 Press EDIT.
For titles in the hard disk
To divide, press the Yellow button
[ Divide ] on the remote control.

For titles in a DVD RW
To divide, press the Yellow button
[ Title ] on the remote control, then
press the Red button [ Divide ].

5 To exit the menu, press EDIT.
 A new title is created in the HDD list
or the disc content menu.
