System Menu Options (continued)
System settings (underlined options are the factory default settings)
Menu Language
Select the menu language for this recorder on-screen display.
Clock Setting
Set the date and time. Use ST keys or the numeric keypad 0-9
to change the number. Use WX keys to select the entry  eld, .
Press OK to con rm.
Clock Mode
Set the clock format. Use ST keys to select the preferred
option, then press OK to con rm.
{ 12Hour } – Select this to display 12 hour time format.
{ 24Hour } – Select this to display 24 hour time format.
Screen Saver
The screen saver prevents damage to the TV screen by avoiding
exposure to a static image for too long.
{ On } – Switch to TV screen saver mode when
playback has been stopped or paused for
more than 15 minutes.
{ Off } – Turn off the screen saver function.
Restore Default
Restore all the settings of this recorder, except for the
password, parental level setting and timer programming.
1) Press OK to con rm the default restore.
2) A warning message will appear. Select { OK } in the menu to
proceed or { Cancel } to abort, then press OK to con rm.
