22 FaxForward/ReverseSearch

During playback, press the FWDI_I_ISLOW button or the

REV_I_I button on the remote control,

• On a DVD, pressingthe FVVDIM_/SLOW or REV_t_I button

repeatedly will forward or reversethe picture at twice, eight

times, or 32 times the normal playbackspeed.Sound will be

muted during searching.Thesearchspeed will show in the corner

of the screen briefly.

• Use the FVVDI=,-I_/SLOW button for a forward search.Pressthe

REV_I_I button for a reverse search.

• On anAudio CD, you maysearch forward or backward at 16

times the normal playbackspeed (_I_IXI6 or I_I_XI6). Pressing

the F'VVDI_"_/SLOW or REV_I_I button repeatedly will not

affect the speed of the search.Soundwill be intermittent during

searchingon anAudio CD.

• Use the FVVDI_/SLOW button for a forward search.Pressthe

REV_I_I button for a reverse search.

Pressthe REV _ buttonduring Audio CD playback.

Pressthe FWD I_,/SLOW buttonduring Audio CD playback.

Press the PLAY button to return to normal playback.
